La Casa de la Playa

Had an incredible time at La Case De La Playa. The entire property is beautiful, the food delicious, and service impeccable. I can’t wait to go back! Also, the ability to walk right over to Xcaret Arte and Xcaret Mexico was great. However, our room was so nice and comfortable that I must admit that we relaxed and ordered the incredible room service quite a bit. I’d like to give a special shout to David and Memo, our two awesome butlers. Any request was filled nearly instantly. Also, Jesus and Armando, drivers we used, made us feel right at home as well. In fact, what stands out is that everyone was so great - the service really contributes to making La Casa De La Playa truly a special place. Thank you!

Casa de La Playa is the best resort my wife and I have ever visited. We stayed here in July 2022, marking our first trip during/post-COVID. Originally planned as a babymoon, this getaway was delayed due to the pandemic, but, it was absolutely worth the wait. From the moment we arrived at the lobby, Casa de La Playa set a flawless tone. This boutique hotel exudes sophistication & warmth, & the highest level of personalized attention from the staff. The Suite Experience Our suite was perfect, an ideal blend of elegance & comfort, with breathtaking views. The room’s decor, featured artwork by renowned Mexican artists, added a unique touch that felt both luxurious & culturally immersive. The icing on the cake? The room service. Not only was it impeccable, but you could order directly from any of the hotel’s exceptional restaurants. The Culinary Masterpiece Casa de La Playa’s dining options are a culinary journey in themselves. Tucha de Luna & Lumbre were fantastic, but my absolute favorite was Estero. The flavors, the presentation, the ambiance, everything was exquisite. (I even wrote a separate review for Estero because it deserved its own spotlight!) The Chocolatería was another highlight, a candy boutique led by master chocolatier and designer Mao Montiel. It’s a delightful tribute to one of the Maya’s most treasured gifts to the world: cacao. Wine lovers will appreciate CAVA, which features an exclusive selection of Mexican and international wines. The resort even has its own label, adding a special touch to the experience. Unmatched Amenities The infinity pool was a slice of heaven. Swimming toward the horizon through the 40-meter waterway with a view of the Caribbean Sea is an experience I’ll never forget. Another standout perk? Guests at Casa de La Playa have access to Hotel Xcaret Arte & Xcaret México. The resort makes it easy by providing transportation in their Teslas, because, of course, every detail is top-tier. Final Thoughts Casa de La Playa delivers an experience that’s luxurious, intimate, & unforgettable. From the impeccable service to the stunning design, from world-class dining to unparalleled amenities, this resort truly has it all. My wife & I can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel that will exceed every expectation, Casa de La Playa is it.

This place is a dream come true! Miguel and Hector from the wet bar were one of the highlights. Jesus without the miracles, was MY guy. We stayed from Dec 28th to Jan 6. Wish we met them earlier in the trip. What a Dream honeymoon!!! This will be a place we frequent without a doubt. Food was okay. Cleanest was undeniable. Such an EXCLUSIVE experience. You are in for a treat.

My family and I have travelled all over the world, and we can say this is the best hotel yet. From the location to architecture to amazing food/drink and most importantly the staff, the whole stay was an experience. Every detail is considered and there are so many unique qualities to enjoy. My wife and I spent 5 nights at La Casa De La Playa for anniversary this November and it was one of the best vacations we’ve ever taken. This was one of the most beautiful resorts we’ve ever visited—and it was amazing how the rooms, amenities, and common spaces were designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding nature. The culinary experiences were also unparalleled (both at the included neighboring resort restaurants and especially at the La Casa De La Playa exclusive restaurants). The highlight of the trip was service provided by the La Casa De La Playa staff, especially our butlers Guillermo and Silvia. The entire staff was warm and welcoming but Guillermo (Memo) anticipated our every need and went above and beyond (from surprises in the room to arranging a guided tequila tasting) to ensure our stay was unforgettable. We can’t recommend this resort enough and we will definitely be returning soon!
