Elvis at the Fairenhight pool is the best pool waiter i’ve ever had. was so attentive, fun, and matched our energy so well. kept the day fun and interesting and always made sure we were happy and taken care of. i would come back all the time just for him. my new favorite person.

Elvis was the most incredible and personal server. He was so attentive and made sure we were always refilled on drinks and water. We came back to the same pool chairs for 3 day straight because of how amazing he was. If you go to the adult side, find Elvis!

Our experience at Paradisus Playa del Carmen was simply amazing. From the first day to the last, everything was perfect: the spotless facilities, the wide variety and quality of the restaurants, the clean and peaceful beach, and of course, the exceptional service provided by the staff. The room was on another level. Spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed—we were truly impressed. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy every moment. We would like to give special thanks to Carlos (Charlie), Ernesto, Hadar, Ezequiel, Rosario, Eddie, and Nancy, who took care of us with such warmth and dedication, making each day truly special. Thank you to the entire Paradisus team for giving us an unforgettable vacation. Would we come back? Absolutely. We’ll return calmly, ready to enjoy this wonderful place all over again.

Service was ok. Food choices at the buffet was very small with very limited variety (Isabella at the omelette station was amazing however). Also very difficult to know what is safe to eat as someone with Celiac as nothing is labeled and restaurants have mislabeled menus. Habit by to make reservations to the restaurants is very passé. It is time consuming and with the two classes of service (reserve and non reserve) with butlers making reservations for the reserve guests makes it that dinner is usually either at 6pm or after 9pm. Entertainment was lacking both at the pool and in the evening. Rooms would benefit from a good updated. Musty smell in the cupboards and drawers and overall dampness in the room (bed sheets felt wet all the time). For those wanting wifi, it is only available at the resort and pool - not at the beach (unless you are reserve)

We can't say enough amazing things about Paradisus La Perla! Every touch of the resort is done right, but the best thing really is the people. The staff at this resort go above and beyond! Incredible! Antonio at Sante, Abisail and Alfredo poolside at the Reserve, our amazing concierge Fabian, and our absolute most favourite person, Henah at the Reserve lobby lounge! What a gem!
