ALBERTO Alberto ALBERTO!!! I was here for 5 days and ALBERTO by the pool areas was AMAZING!!!!! During my stay Alberto had his well deserved day off & I can honestly say , I couldn’t wait until Alberto got back…. I ordered my 1st drink at 10am and never needed to order again! Alberto always made sure my drink was NEVER EMPTY !! Wow ! Just amazing !!

If you are looking for a resort to just destress and relax with great food than this is the resort for you. The staff is very attentive and amazing. Our butlers Israel and Roger went above and beyond for us the entire time we were there. We witnessed multiple weddings while there that I sent a bunch of pictures to my daughters for them to consider a destination wedding there when they decide to tie the knot. Massages in the spa were great. Coffee shop had the best shortbread cookies daily. Just an overall great experience. I will definitely be coming back.

Had another wonderful experience at the Unico!! Our Concierge (Mendoza) was nothing short of amazing!! He went out of his way to do anything he could on a daily basis to make sure we were happy & relaxed!! The staff there are awesome!! 👏 this was my third time at the Unico & the food has always been exceptional!! However I noticed this time the Mexican & Steak restaurants were sub par compared to other visits. There is also a need for a food truck kind of application for more simple food in the evening if you don’t want to schedule a restaurant visit. Still a wonderful experience!! Thx Unico Staff!!

Service, luxury, comfortable accommodations, and a first-class atmosphere are the hallmarks of this Unico resort. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. The only complaint was four weddings were held and the ensuing noise was a bit distracting. Overall, the property had a great vibe and it was worth every peso!

I am incredibly disappointed with our stay at Unico 2087. My husband and I had booked our room back in August, and we were looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable stay with an ocean front view. However, things went wrong from the moment we checked in. When we arrived, we were were NOT told that the room we had booked was unavailable. Instead of offering a solution, the hotel attempted to "upgrade" us to a room we didn't want or ask for. Not only did we not get the room we had carefully chosen, but the substitute room they gave us was of much lesser value, with a terrible view (ground floor). It felt like we were being pushed into something that didn't meet our expectations or the experience we had planned for. To add more, this process took over an hour after a long day of traveling. To try to make things better, they offered us a 50 minute massage which was not what we wanted since this was a friends vacation. Again, after more time of waiting my husband was able to get a cabana for the group for free but this was never their intention and we had to fight for it. I am incredibly frustrated with how the situation was handled. We felt completely let down by the hotel’s management and staff during arrival. For the price we paid, we expected far better service and attention to detail. Once we were situated in the room we did not want, the stay was more enjoyable as the pool staff and food at the resturants were amazing. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to others.
