its a decent hotel but it is not a five-star resent; the staff was very attentive, the beach had no seaweed as it is blocked from the stream - so it is nice if you travel with little children. But it is much smaller than what you expect; the room are okay; the plumbing is old. We liked that it is in the gated city Aventuras - and its very safe and walkable outside the hotel. We also visited the Dolphins and it was an amazing experience. They should lower the price and call it at least 4-star hotel then it might be worth visiting

The resort is lovely, the building is well laid out, the amenities are great, the food is very good, and there is a wonderful breeze that flows through the lobby. All of this is wonderful and can be replicated in other resorts. But the thing that sets this resort apart is the staff! They are amazing and they care so much! Karen and Natali as concierges, Erik and Roberto assisting at the pool side and at the beach, the entertainment staff of Abigail, Perla, and Edwin were just wonderful. The serving staff at the restaurants were also top notch. Our daughter has celiac disease and an allergy to peanuts. This was noted and carefully catered to at every meal. Suggestions were made for alternatives and each menu had options for her. I would like to specifically recognize Manuel in El Patio, Jose, Teresita, and Bradley in Oceana. This was one of the best family vacations we have had! Thank you!

Overall, great food, mostly great service, lack of entertainment for kids but there is the Explorers clubs and they are exceptional (Nubia and Daniella) were excellent. The place is small and easy to find everything. The drinks are okay but the food makes up for it.

Very nice hotel, excellent for people with kids, Beach lagoon, good restaurants with excellent service, located into a gated community.

Amazing service, amazing room, but terrible food. Our room was fantastic and the workers were always trying to be very helpful. The fruit was comparable to a very poor resort in Cuba and the "Mexican" food seemed very Americanized.
