Super break from the cold UK winter. The hotel had everything & was in a great area for any extra entertainment- we took bikes & golf carts out to see the dolphins! Ground floor Preferred club Room with swim up worked perfectly for us. And worth the upgrade. The staff everywhere were v attentive & we were never without a drink or waited for food! Food at each restaurant, buffet & sea side grill was always delicious. Hotel had plenty of peaceful areas (including how lovely it was to enjoy the calm cove for snorkeling) for relaxing but also none stop entertainment around the main pool if u wanted to get involved. On that note the entertainment staff were superb too. Full marks all round!

We were impressed from the moment we arrived—the entryway is gorgeous and the customer service upon arrival was warm and efficient. Check-in via the Preferred Club was smooth; however, we didn’t get a clear explanation of where to find information about what was happening around the resort during our stay. The Preferred Club staff often directed us elsewhere for answers rather than handling questions themselves, which was disappointing given the “preferred” experience. On the positive side, the cabanas were great and the pools themselves are nice. Unfortunately, the resort does not seem to enforce its own pool chair rules. There’s a posted policy about not saving seats with personal items for more than 45 minutes prior to 10:30 a.m., but in practice all seats are taken by around 7:30 a.m. I don’t like waking up that early on vacation just to secure a chair. Food was the biggest letdown. The resort’s dining options were generally not good, and we went off-site several times to get a decent meal and broader variety. I understand people often say not to expect great food at resorts, but I do expect staff to take allergy restrictions seriously. Based on our experience, we don’t believe our allergy instructions were followed consistently. Overall, I’d rate this a 5 out of 10, with room to improve if the food quality and allergy handling were addressed—and if pool chair policies were enforced more consistently. The setting and arrival experience are strong; better information from the Preferred Club and meaningful improvements in dining would make a big difference.

Beautiful resort, good sized and well furnished rooms (preferred club). Swim out pool attached to the room was a good private spot to hang out. Immediately the staff was attentive friendly and welcoming, and that energy remained throughout our stay. World Cafe buffet was always good, Gohan was good food but better vibes, Steakhouse was disappointing, El Patio had some great dishes and some not so great. But overall the food was fantastic if you stick to the buffet. All the bars had a wide selection of drinks and fast service, and again great atmosphere. Iguanas and birds were good company. Great location outside the resort, with very good walkable town area for shops and restaurants. Overall beautiful spot for a more quiet vacation that’s family friendly and not rowdy.

Had a lovely family vacation with my dad and two kids ages 8 and 10. The resort is very small, so it was easy for my kids to navigate themselves to go get an ice-cream without worry. We upgraded to preferred to get access to the other pool which was a little more chill than the activity pool. I found that the restaurant Oceana was my favorite, and you can only access it if you upgrade to preferred, so that part alone was worth it for the upgrade. The beach is also kid friendly as its blocked from the waves and we even managed to snorkel at the hotel next to us and see some parrot fish. The morning yoga classes in the palapa hut was such a beautiful setting and great way to start the morning.
