We had a wonderful time at Dreams; they really do try to make it a home away from home. Though there are fewer restaurants to choose from, each one has its own gems and the chefs go out of their way to accommodate special requests. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable, with plenty of good amenities. Really though, it’s the staff that make all the difference - everyone was always happy to help in any way they could. With a special shout out to Jorge, Ivan, Elana, Emilio and Filipe, all of whom provided first rate service in their respective areas, whether it be arranging trips, services, Eggs Benedict in the morning or pool side drinks and snacks - they really made the trip something special. Jorge and Ivan in particular were always ready with smiles and brought joy to the days. We took great advantage of the Preferred Club amenities, spending most of our time in that pool and enjoying the quiet peace of the Preferred Club Lounge. We would highly recommend the the below to anyone due to visit: - Chino’s Fishing and Diving - Paul’s Cart Rentals (golf carts around the marina) - don’t forget Fiona, his trusted side kick - Xel Ha is a fantastic day out for the kids - Cocoa Bongo is a fantastic night out for the adults :)

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, everything was absolutely perfect. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better holiday! Check-in was quick and simple. We were actually Preferred Club members, which we didn’t even realise, so we were taken to our own section of the hotel to check in, which was such a lovely start to our stay. Our room was perfect — spotlessly clean, comfortable and with a free minibar that was restocked every single day. We also had a swim-up room, and the pool was always kept beautifully clean by the staff. The staff throughout the whole resort were so friendly, kind and attentive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and whenever we needed anything, they were always happy to help. Unfortunately, on the morning we were due to fly home, our flight was cancelled. This could have been a very stressful situation, but the hotel staff were absolutely amazing. They helped us contact the airline, talked through potential solutions with us and were incredibly supportive throughout the whole situation. They even allowed us to stay beyond our check-out time rather than leaving us to deal with everything on our own, which we really appreciated. The room service was also amazing — the food was genuinely so good! If I had one thing to mention, it would be that if you’re not a fan of traditional Mexican food, you may find some of the buffet options and certain restaurants a little difficult. However, there were still plenty of choices, and Portofino restaurant was absolutely amazing — definitely one of our favourites! The beach was beautiful and very clean. There was some seaweed while we were there, and unfortunately it did have a bit of a smell, but this is something that happens at certain times of the year and is completely outside of the hotel’s control. The staff were out every day working hard to clear it, so it really didn’t take away from the experience. There were also loads of water sports available around the resort, all free of charge, which was such a bonus. Overall, the hotel was absolutely amazing. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. From the beautiful resort and perfect room to the incredible staff and the way they looked after us when our flight was cancelled, everything made our holiday so special. We would 100% come back here and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. We’re already wishing we were back! 🌴☀️❤️

The staff was amazing. Marco, Guadalupe and Ruben were outstanding!! They made my experience well worth it!! That Veronica person was tooooo pushy and I didn’t appreciate that. She made us all uncomfortable!! I would visit again. Thank you to the staff. It was a great time. Our family was happy! We will Facebook/ IG/ Twitter our experience!

Marco, Guadalupe and Ruben are the most amazing staff I have ever experienced! I will be back because of them!

The overall service has been way above par, special mention to the politeness and cheerfulness of the staff, they're all amazing and they always give you their all. The spa was particularly delightful and Esther guided has through with care, a soothing tone and superb care
