The service at this resort was hands down the best we've ever had! The food was great, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the beach was great for younger kids. It is a little different having the rock wall out in the ocean, but it helps to keep out seaweed and keep the water calm which is great for young kids, paddle boarding etc. They have a system set up in the ocean to stop the seaweed from coming in, and the one day it broke and the seaweed came in a lot. The staff were super at working hard and efficiently to fix it and clean up all the seaweed. The location is great, in a gated community with a marina beside it, offering lots of shopping, bars, restaurants, dolphins etc. If you enjoy walking a long stretch of beach for miles this area isn't for you but it was a nice change of scenery, walking along the marina, checking out the public beaches etc. Would definitely recommend this place for younger kids and older people who want calm waters that are fairly shallow and straight out.

The resort is overall tired. Customer service is spotty and generally fails. The beach is not a beach at all, it is a concrete slab with 3 inches of sand in front of a stagnant pond of shallow water. Sargasum often makes it's way beyond the protective nets regardless. Can't see the ocean, stone wall is too high. Lack of chairs and most are broken or very tired. You can tell they don't invest much. The pool is very noisy and crowded and it is difficult to find a quiet spot even at the beach. Some shade but not much. There was construction going on and we didn't know and they also had a group party on a rooftop in front of the rooms until 11:15pm, unacceptably loud. Their transportation from Cancun airport did the milk run and took us over 2.5 hours! Positives: coffee bar, mixology bar (Alberto was great), nice balcony views, kids will enjoy the small resort and activities). In general this is bad for any all-inclusive but for a Dreams resort, seriously lacking, not close to the reputation it has. There are better alternatives out there.

Our experience was great! The staff was amazing, especially Ruben, Francisco, Natalie, and Elia. We also had great massages from Guadalupe and Lucia. Highly recommend!
