Horrible service, housekeeping entered the rooms without knocking, we did not have a hair dryer, they rarely left towels after cleaning the room, and it was hard to get a drink at any bar.

The overall experience was disappointing. The food quality was consistently below expectations, and service often felt conditional—staff seemed noticeably less attentive unless tips were given. The hotel itself felt closer to a three-star standard rather than what was advertised. The Preferred Club, in particular, did not add value; service there was even less welcoming, and the food quality was equally underwhelming throughout. Additionally, we were pulled into what turned out to be a timeshare presentation that took up nearly half of our day. We specifically asked beforehand whether it was a timeshare and were told it was not, which made the experience even more frustrating. It also felt difficult to leave once it had started.

This resort was such a hit for our family of four (two kids ages 16 and 12). The small size allowed our kids, and us, to make connections with other travellers during our stay, and they walked around the property with ease. Our oldest is Autistic and the entertainment team went above and beyond to make him feel included. He has the time of his life at this resort! We loved Perla, Edwin and Abigail so much. They helped us make lifelong memories. Housekeeping was also remarkable. We would request early room cleans so our son could have quiet time in the room at lunch and they were so responsive each day. I am marathon training so I loved how safe and comfortable I felt running around the Puerta Aventuras community outside the resort. Beautiful views alone the marina. Entertainment outside ended at a decent hour which was great for sleep. The staff at coco cafe were wonderful. Have the Mayan and the chocolate cake! Also the cake pops! Anita makes the best cappuccino! Food was probably an 8/10, with the buffet having the most opportunity for improvement, but we always found enough food to eat! We just left and all of us said it was the best vacation. Would absolutely return.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, took my wife for her birthday as a surprise and was everything we could hope for. Our room and swim up pool were regularly cleaned, I recommend being part of the preferred club. Seaweed could be an issue but the staff do clean this daily.

We had a wonderful 10 days at Dreams. The staff is exceptional- friendly, professional and very helpful. We were in the preferred section and it was well worth it. Emilio, the preferred concierge was fabulous. Francisco at the pool was helpful in finding spots in the shade. All the restaurants’ staffs were wonderful. We enjoyed the food. And if you ask, they will bring you special requests. If you want a big beach, this is not the place for you. But, there is a bar overlooking the open ocean, for gorgeous ocean views and the sound of the waves.
