Extremely Disappointing Resort Experience Unfortunately, this was one of the worst resort experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, there were problems. Nobody greeted us or helped with our luggage, and despite having Preferred Status, the check-in experience was extremely disorganized. We waited about 20 minutes for an elevator, then arrived at the Preferred lounge only to find the person handling check-in wasn’t there. The lounge was crowded with no available seating. Our room initially looked nice, but the closet door didn’t open and the bathroom lock didn’t work, resulting in one of our children getting stuck inside. These are basic safety and maintenance issues that should have been fixed before the room was occupied. The resort itself was small, dated, and poorly maintained. The pool looked dirty enough that our kids refused to go in. There were cracked tiles and broken equipment throughout the property, including ice machines and games in the teen club. The teen club is featured in the hotel’s marketing, yet several games didn’t work and there were no snacks or water available. Food service was equally frustrating. Pizza was listed on the menu, but we were repeatedly told it wasn’t available—even while we watched other children eating pizza. Food service also involved extremely long wait times. Things became so bad that we decided to move to another hotel. Our travel agent repeatedly emailed and called the resort, but nobody responded. When we went to the front desk, we were initially told they had no emails. After insisting they check, they finally found the emails from the previous day. Eventually, they allowed us to check out early—but still penalized us for leaving early. For what we paid, and especially with Preferred Status, we expected a clean, well-maintained resort and a much higher level of service. Very disappointing experience. We would not recommend this resort, and Preferred Status was absolutely not worth the extra cost.

The staff was incredible !! But if you’re looking for entertainment not recommended.. After dinner nothing to do!! Preferred was a joke!! all you get is one bar with premium alcohol

We stayed in a sea view room with the preferred club option. The staff were amazing and we have never been made to feel so welcome . The food was very good but not all restaurants were open and our Oceana restaurant was closed for the first week. The preferred pool is good with sun-beds etc available all day. Very nice mix of people in the resort . The entertainment was hit and miss but my son and I did good rendition of Sweet Caroline on the Karaoke night which went down well. The resort does need some work as things are looking tired and no air on in the teen hangout made it unusable . Overall a nice holiday made by the staff.

Honestly the worst experience ever, cold, unseasoned food. No seafood at the seafood restaurant. Terrible room service that doesn't clean the room or leave new towel. never restocked the fridge. kids near the bars ordering drinks and in the adults only side of the pool. dirty spa with pooling unsanitary water on the seats in the steam room. staff that doesn't understand English. watered down drinks at the bars. Tricked into a Time share presentation that they SWEAR isn't a time share its a "vacation club". held hostage for 3 hours and then when we were finally called a taxi back to our resort our day was over. Stayed for 6 days and 7 nights of hell at a supposed 5 star hotel. Save your money and book somewhere else.
