Our family LOVED this resort and our time here! We enjoyed the close proximity of the pool, snack bar, beach, bathrooms, buffet for brunch, and water slide - especially for the kids to run around and have safe fun! The resort activities kept us busy and having FUN, wow the entertainment team here is INCREDIBLE! They brought high energy every day and included all guests. We especially enjoyed aqua aerobics and pool games with Uriel, pickleball with Edwin, and bracelet making and Zumba on the beach. I have to say our entire family agreed the snack bar on the beach was awesome. 👏🏼 And we appreciated the specialty carts with octopus tacos and sushi! The ladies at Coco Cafe were pure sunshine ☀️ Margarita & Diana make the best coffee and are also so pleasant and kind. The other perk is the safe and cute gated Marina town to walk around and explore. We enjoyed and easy excursion to Eco-park Katun-Chi for cenotes. We will definitely be back.

Staff A+ Food was good, but dinner options were few. Breakfast and lunch buffets were great. Best cappuccinos at the lobby cafe! Room was clean, but toilet plugged a few times, and overflowed. The shower never drained. It basically had water at the bottom the entire time we stayed there. Beware of staff that knocks and enters the room immediately upon knocking. Use the chain lock to prevent this. Also beware of Amerstar reps selling you tours disguised as great deals via Time Share presentations. Not. Worth. It. we were told a 90-minute presentation would give us entrance to the Tulum Ruins but the 2.25 hours presentation did not include the $60 mandatory fee to make it into the park to the ruins. Any other paying activity (Romantic Dinner for my husband and I) felt short of expectations, and definitely not on the beach as we expected. It was in a restaurant with all other patrons, nothing different but what was in our plate. Otherwise great place, although if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. It’s primarily for families with kids.

Location- 1 hour shuttle from Tulum Airport between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum Beach- it’s more of a lagoon, sand is extremely hard, basically no beach, and water is not the Mexican blue you may dream of “Public Beach”- 10 minute walk from hotel, beautiful water, swim able - problem is, you paid for all inclusive- now you have to pay for food and drink with no chairs ATMOSPHERE- over run with kids- so if you have kids 3-13 you must come here- events are truly focused around children, this is NOT a couples spot! Room- Preferred Marina view, only problem is there are no boats this far down the inlet, so underwhelming- viewing a canal that has old building with garbage, no boats have been in this section for decades STAFF- beautiful, friendly, and helpful Cleanliness- old hotel will not call it a resort, clean Pools- YUK!!!All pools had kids, overrun, constantly shut down due to kids accidentally going bathroom, water was murky at best - would not swim in the 2 pools- dirty and overrun with young kids!

its a decent hotel but it is not a five-star resent; the staff was very attentive, the beach had no seaweed as it is blocked from the stream - so it is nice if you travel with little children. But it is much smaller than what you expect; the room are okay; the plumbing is old. We liked that it is in the gated city Aventuras - and its very safe and walkable outside the hotel. We also visited the Dolphins and it was an amazing experience. They should lower the price and call it at least 4-star hotel then it might be worth visiting
