Even better than expected. I booked a room with a swim-up pool for an annual trip with my friends. I didn't realize the room I booked was a Preferred Guest room which meant we had access to additional areas of the resort including a Preferred Guest Lounge, Preferred Guest seating areas at restaurants, and a Preferred Guest pool which offered higher-end liquor than the other pool/bars. The staff was fantastic and knew us all by name. The resort was clean and the gym had a surprising variety of equipment. And we used our personal swim-up pool every day. The food was kind of what you'd expect from an all-inclusive resort. Most of it was forgettable, though my salmon dinner at Oceana was fantastic. The drinks were hit-or-miss, though the drinks we ordered at the Preferred Guest pool were consistently tasty.

Very disappointing! I stayed for 10 days and throughout that period there was no access to the sea. The sea area was covered in seaweed so you could not swim. Also the smell was awful. Apparently this is a regular occurrence from April/May until Sept/Oct, this should be highlighted on their site. The only swimming option was one pool unless I chose to pay an extra 130 US dollars per night to use a second nicer pool. Despite the hotel being quiet and making a request, this option was not offered in lieu of no sea swimming. The food was very average and a far cry from “ gourmet “ as described on the website. The hotel was tired, but perfectly adequate with large rooms. The gym was the best feature! The staff were lovely and very friendly and eventually waived a 25 US dollars per hour late check out fee after I pointed out I had been there for 10 days without access to the sea, but that was my only compensation. Pool activity staff were great and very entertaining. I certainly would not stay there again and would not recommend the area at that time of year if you want to swim in the sea.

Review Summary: We booked this resort expecting a premium family getaway but experienced a frustrating, subpar, and hazardous stay. While the hardworking and wonderful staff were the sole saving grace of the trip, their excellent service could not overcome the resort's massive systemic failures. Major Safety Hazard: A severe lack of property maintenance resulted in water actively leaking from a ceiling with no warning signs, causing me to slip and fall while carrying my infant son. Awful Food & Closures: Dining was a massive disappointment every night. Food quality was incredibly low, and advertised restaurants were frequently closed or unavailable, completely contradicting what was promised. Unusable Beach: The beach was in awful condition with an overpowering, unpleasant smell that made it impossible to lounge near or enjoy the ocean. Between the terrible food and restaurant closures, and a terrifying safety incident with my baby, I cannot recommend this resort to families.

Visit was ok...expected more entertainment and wasnt able to use the beach because of the sarragasm...was told to lower music in preferred pool and unable to do activities in the pool...throwing football etc

This is a follow up from my 1 star review at the end of may. Long story short, we were here for my brothers wedding(about 15 of us). You can read my details in previous post, but 3 weeks later I am still dealing with stomach issues. 3 of us ended up with an E. coli parasite. Honestly, was not surprised after seeing how unsanitary things were from the pool water, food prep, bathrooms and bedrooms. I normally don’t write reviews, but people need to be made aware. I am an Airbnb host of 5 properties and it blew my mind. They will apologize and send their typical response, but it’s unacceptable. The amount of money this place cost is laughable in comparison to the accommodations. We are actually low maintenance people and very understanding, but this was an unbelievable grift. Please do your research.
