Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa

We recently had our wedding at the dreams sapphire resort and spa. Not sure where to start because our visit was nothing short of amazing. We traveled with 105 people and no one had a complaint- the food, hospitality, and the environment were all amazing. The pool/beach was beautiful. They had entertainment nightly and pop up food stations and it was authentic and luxurious at the same time. Everyone that worked there was friendly and accommodating. Lulu and the wedding department made every detail perfect and worked with me from start to finish to make the weekend amazing. I just can’t say enough positive things about her and the wedding team. Amazing. The new sky rooftop was the perfect location.

Dreams Sapphire is a beautiful resort. Food was fantastic, drinks were top notch and beach was excellent. The pools, especially the adult pool was perfect for relaxing. We very much enjoyed our 10 days at the resort and would go there again. The people were excellent!!

This place hands down, has the BEST friendliest nicest wonderful staff ever! This is our 2nd time at this resort and we would return! We upgraded this time to the Preferred and it was awesome! The Preferred pool's staff was amazing from Omar (nicknamed Oscar-Double "O"), Jose, entertainment Aye Aye TONY and all of the bartenders!!! So attentive and treated us all very well! The restaurants were amazing!!! The rooms were nice and big in the 1100 Tulem Building and was very close to the preferred pool and the SPA! The spa was also amazing! Mildred gave me a hot stone massage and my husband a deep tissue massage! Wonderful! We also got to use the hydro therapy stations!! A must do as well! The only downfall was the buffet was not as good as 2 years ago, but was still good and in a brand new building!! Also, maybe keep a pool bar open longer for people arriving later in the day? 5pm for Preferred Pool & bar and 5:30pm for main pool bar, but the pool remains open. Great resort!

This was our second trip and this time we stayed in the new Indigo section. The rooftop pool area is very nice but definitely not enough shade. The beach section in that area has no bathroom or bar close by (or bar service), no shade whatsoever, and no padding in the chairs . That's not what one would expect in the preferred section of a resort. The adults only pool is where we found the best amenities such as shade, chairs, towels, close bathroom and bar. Jose and Rosendo are the absolute best! The meals served outside instead of in the buffet were not great. If you came later to eat there were no napkins or silverware available and very hard to find a place to sit. With all that being said, this is a great resort and the above negatives do not outweigh our great stay . . . just suggestions to make it even better. Our room was very spacious and kept clean on a daily basis. We never had to ask for more towels or for the drinks to be restocked. All the employees were friendly, helpful and courteous. Room service had a good selection and was fast. Food at the Sushi Bar was excellent! They try hard to keep the beach nice but you can't fight mother nature and the seaweed. I would recommend to any couple or family to stay at the Dreams Sapphire.

The staff were professional and personable. Jose at the Preferred Pool was always smiling and remembered each of our orders. Gunner at the Blue Water Grill was exceptional. The fitness room was always clean and offered a variety of equipment. Thank you for the wonderful memories.
