Dreams Jade Resort & Spa

While we generally choose adults only places, this Dreams is one we have been to three times now. The Preferred Pool, which is adults only allows us a similar experience. The Preferred club is really nice. Food is good. Services was outstanding.

We first visited the resort in November to finalize wedding details (yes I booked my wedding without first seeing the resort and have zero regrets haha) and le me tell you it was amazing!! The little town of Puerto Morelos is hidden gem. The beaches are beautiful, the resort is fun and exciting yet calm and relaxing. I loved my stay so much. When we came back for our wedding in December some of the staff still remembered our names, and congratulated us on our upcoming wedding. My entire group of 72 had the best time. They all raved about the resort, it's beauty and the staff's attention to detail. My fave person in the resort was definitely Martha, the bartender at the preferred club bar. She was so sweet, her drinks were the best in all the resort and I just enjoyed her so much!

Feedback on Recent Stay at Dreams jade Resort& Spa Dear Resort Management/Customer Service, I am writing to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at Dreams Jade Resort, where I traveled with a family group of 14 people from December 18. Unfortunately, our experience at the resort did not align with the expectations we had, especially for a 5-star property owned by Hyatt. While there were a few positive aspects, I would rate the overall experience as a 1 out of 5. 1. Cleanliness (5/5): The resort was clean, and the rooms and bathrooms were well-maintained throughout our stay. This is the only area where we were satisfied. 2. Food (0/5): The food quality was below average, with limited options at both the buffet and the à la carte restaurants. We often found that dishes would run out before being replenished. Additionally, the drinks were watered down, and the coffee shop staff struggled to prepare beverages correctly, leading to a very disappointing culinary experience. 3. Service (1/5): The service, especially at the coffee shop, was subpar. Staff seemed untrained or unaware of how to properly serve drinks, and overall service was inconsistent throughout the resort. Additionally, I had an unfortunate encounter with a staff member named Janet, who was very rude when interacting with guests. The staff’s overall demeanor did not reflect the standard of service expected at a 5-star resort. 4. Entertainment and Nightlife (0/5): The resort lacked adequate entertainment options. The entire resort shuts down by 9:00 pm, with no vibrant nightlife. The coffee shop remained open, but it was essentially useless, as it did not provide anything beyond basic drinks. The overall entertainment was lackluster. 5. Beach (0/5): The beach area was disappointing. It was rocky, and there was very limited beach space. To access a better beach, we were required to walk to the neighboring resort, which was also rocky and not ideal for swimming or relaxing. 6. Noise and Mosquitoes (1/5): The rooms were poorly insulated in terms of noise, and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms and above. This affected our overall comfort and relaxation. Additionally, there were a significant number of mosquitoes in the resort, which was unpleasant. Given these issues, I feel that the resort does not live up to its advertised 5-star rating. I would categorize it closer to a 3-star experience based on the quality of service, food, entertainment, and amenities. Thank you for taking the time to review my comments. Sincerely, Rola E

Miguel at Tempanyaki was amazing! Great show, kids loved the fire, 100% worth waiting in line for. Marcos the bellman went above beyond helping us move rooms 2 times and making sure we had everything we need. Eduardo at the pool bar knew our drinks, always had a smile, and kept the god times going all week long! Carmen and Theresa at the spa were so sweet, took care of our tired feed so we could keep swimming and dancing. Paulina the head Concierage was AMAZING at helping resolve our room confusion. Not only did she get us in the right room, but she sent over some extra special for my birthday as a complete suprise. The staff is what really makes this resort!

Our concierge Ruben took absolute care of us. The pool concierge at the preferred pool, Victor Julian, and the best bartenders at the preferred pool, especially Abdias. Isabel and Adriana at the spa took such wonderful care of us. Emiliano & El Indio, Chef Reyes & Carina were absolutely awesome at the buffet at Dreams Jade in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, Dec 2024.
