Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is the best resort to stay at when visiting Puerto Vallarta! The service and amenities here are second to none, and there's a reason they're the highest rated resort in the area. We had our wedding here in September 2024, and we could not have imagined a better wedding. From the moment we arrived, the staff took amazing care of us and our guests, and you will also have a private concierge to help you with anything you need during your stay. They can help book reservations for you (dinner, spa, golf, etc) and also provide you with daily resort activity information during your stay. The food and drinks are the best, and you will not be disappointed if you choose to spend your holiday here. Also our wedding coordinators, Leti and Fernanda were the most amazing people we could've worked with while planning our destination wedding here, so if you're thinking about having your special day at Grand Velas, I would HIGHLY recommend!

This resort is lovely. I cannot say enough about the quality of service we received. Upon arrival I was met by Sr. Concierge Jose Reynoso who met up with me every day of my visit to insure my stay was meeting my expectations. You could not walk 30 feet without seeing a staff member cleaning or attending to patron’s needs. The pool bar was well stocked and the drinks were definitely not watered down. Thank you to our bartenders Jose, Jaime and staff, concierge Jorge, as well as the beyond excellent service provided by our pool server Kenia. Every restaurant topped the next. The food was amazing. This region of Mexico has my favorite cuisine and the restaurants at Gran Velas took it to the next level. Frida is elevated Mexican cuisine and may have been my favorite. Our suite was very large with a front ocean view for beautiful sunsets. It was well designed, comfortable, and clean. The shower and tub were large. The lighting was great. The bed was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this resort for a clean, safe, comfortable and most of all memorable stay.

Carlos and Cassandra were very helpful and fun from surfing in the morning to beach volleyball in the afternoon. Fun in the Sun while relaxing at a great property! The cabanas on the beach and the beach waiting staff were very friendly and always there to provide you with the best service! For an all inclusive this is a fantastic experience!

Great, great service all around! The restaurants were excellent with a multitude of choices- even Azul, which is a not a specialty restaurant, but serves more variety than one would even notice without a complete study. The specialty restaurants had excellent gourmet choices, fine wines (expensive, but included in price), and good background music. The events at the beach are fun, including kayaking, volleyball, etc. (Carlo is an excellent host there, and a great guide- a surfer too, good for pointing surfers to good beaches for that). The pools and hot tubs are clean, with very frequent visits by agreeable servers, providing food and drink- never allowing guests to become hungry or thirsty. All around great resort! We never even set foot off the resort, and we will definitely return!!

This team’s dedication to creating unforgettable memories made our trip truly remarkable. Grand Velas is more than just a resort; it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. Highly recommended!
