Falcon's Resort by Melia, All Suites Resort

We loved the resort and all the activities at the resort. Loved the rum tasting at Mama and Juana bar with Raisa & Carmen Peña 😊 The resort is fabulous with a great water park on the property for kids! Highly recommend for families and the food was great too!

This was a very family oriented resort and the best thing was our family concierge Omar who really took great care of us. From making all our restaurant reservations, planning a cake for the bday and making sure we had a picnic meal to carry as we headed to the airport. He was willing to run errand and was truly our guide during the stay. As far as the Melia hotel- our trip was planned to include the Khatmandu water park and we chose to stay close to it. We had booked 9 months in advance but no one notified us that they were closed. The hotel was not willing to really make amends for that and that very poorly handled. Also choose the rooms on the poolside as the rooms on the opposite side is close to the road and has a lot of traffic noise even during the night. Food and drinks were reasonable but the icecream was amazing.

I stayed in many resorts in the Dominican Republic before but Paradisus Grand Cana liked the most. I am highly recommend this hotel because 1. the beach are suitable to the people with knee or spine problems. it is very smooth and comfortable to go to the ocean. 2. The room was very clean, climate control working well and you can adjust any temperature to feel comfortable. 3. Concierge service keep us informed with daily activities and try to help with any needs you may have. We have concierge Leonardo and was very pleased by his response and professionalism. 4. All staff very friendly and we feel very comfortable and safe to be around.

The appetizers were amazing. The bruschetta and the French onion soup were divine. We had their steak and their snapper as well as their burger all delicious. My son love the mac & cheese as well. You’ve gotta try the crème brûlée for dessert Simply D’Vine.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous, super clean and the staff members are the best! Marilin is part of the buffet team and she was so kind and attentive too! We came for a week in Paradisus grand cana because we wanted to relax and enjoy warm weather. Paradisus has also bands playing at night and dancer. Also entertainment for anyone with kids which is really nice!
