Finest Punta Cana

Our family of four (two kids aged five and 1 1/2 half) just returned from five days at the Finest and we had an awesome time. The resort is a perfect mix of adult and kid-friendly, has a beautiful, very private beach (barely any seaweed) and many pools to enjoy. The food is good, but nothing to write home about, as expected for an all inclusive. We enjoyed the pizza truck, ice cream store, Mexican restaurant, the buffet for breakfast, Italian restaurant, the unlimited room service and the always flowing strawberry daiquiris for the kids and margaritas for the adults. The playrooms at the restaurants are great for entertaining the kids (coloring, blocks, balloon animals) while waiting for your food/finishing your meal. The night time shows were fun and entertaining for the kids. It never felt like you were too far from your room as the property is big enough to not feel crowded but also small enough to get around easily. Important to note - We had booked a private pool suite thinking it would be good for when the little one was napping or after they went to sleep. I called ahead of time asking whether there was a proper lock on the back door to ensure I wouldn't have to worry about the kids opening it themselves. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the door simply opens without much of any effort and there is no barrier between the deck and the private pool (same goes for swim up suites). We didn't feel comfortable with having to worry about this throughout the trip so Luz at the front desk was able to switch us to a regular balcony room and since we paid more for the pool suite, give us Finest Club access for our entire stay. I don't know how much extra this actually costs but the pool area for the Finest Club was calm, had great service and a shelf area where the water is about 10 inches deep where all the little ones played for days on end. It also gives you access to more restaurants and a slightly elevated beach area (cushioned chairs). All in all, we had a fantastic time and I would absolutely return.

All in all a great experience at the finest hotel! It’s a calm and chill vibe place so come to lay on the beach or the pool. The restaurants were great and the service too. Ricky at dukes is amazing! Javier is the best hype man ever! Never thought I would like bingo until I played with him as host! The staff always went above and beyond for us! Rooms are clean and spacious. My only negative things are I wish there were more active activities for adults. I know that the kids club is amazing but would have liked more things to do for adults. I wish the staff can recommend the restaurants and dishes to us. Let them try the food that they are selling!! 10/10 would definitely recommend to families with young children and to those who want an R & R experience!

We just returned from a terrific trip to Finest Punta Cana. We stayed in a family suite and the pack and play that we have requested was set up in the room when we arrived. Everything was clean and the food was plentiful. We drank tap water and the kids loved the "blue blob" along with the water park by the kids club. There were a few staff members that went out of their way to make our stay incredible. Victor (trainee) at the smoothie bar, Lendy and Guillermo at Aqua Bar, Luna our hostess at Surf and Turf and at Duke's who got our children coloring pages, Ana at the kids playroom by the Italian restaurant and Elliot at Insieme. Our only complaint was with Seasons the car transfer. On the way from the airport to the hotel they only had one working car seat. The booster I had requested was a broken car seat that didn't have a lap belt. On the way from the hotel to the airport, despite confirming the arrival time, they were 15 minutes late. The hotel staff was helpful in trying to find our driver but it made the end of the trip very stressful. I would have preferred bring our own car seats especially because on both rides we had to install the seats ourselves anyway.

July is another person I met this week that is an extremely sweet young lady. I hope everyone gets a chance to meet her. She is fun and energetic. She is perfect for what she does. Tania works in the kids entertainment and she is super fun and personable. The kids really go to her to dance and get involved. Once again some super super people. I am so happy with Jhovanny he is like a brother. Excellent bartender and a very good person. He made the trip perfect. Along with him was Javier and Yunior from entertainment. They kept my kids continuously active. They were very personable and fun. Roadmica I met this evening and another great bartender. She is very funny and great to be around. I highly recommend this place. I love these people I met. I hope they go do great things by keeping people happy.

Exelence Club was an unforgettable experience. My husband took me to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. And the service was first-class. From the moment you arrive, they treat you like family. The staff in the restaurants are lovely, excellent, and very professional. The service at the spa is top-notch. Everyone is lovely, starting with Veronica and many others. Araceli from the training team is the best; she is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. She kept us informed of all the activities. In short, Finest Punta Cana is excellent.
