Great resort and great management of the guest density around the pool and beach, enought space and chairs, you never feel that you are packed one on top of the other and have options to select active or relax areas. Service at the beach and pool is constant and efficient, staff is attentive to your needs.

This was the third time for four adults to enjoy Secrets Cap Cana. The beach and food are excellent but it is the service from every single person that is absolutely beyond compare. Staff members who had met us before were so kind in acknowledging our return. It was really like returning home. This year they introduced serving a dinner of Indian food one day a week in one of the outdoor restaurants and it was awesome. That type of innovation was great for us since it was something new. The “except for” in my review title has to do with room maintenance. One of the rooms in which our family stayed had a thermostat that was not working at all despite every attempt to fix it. After a couple days, they had to switch rooms. In our room, the door to the toilet was not properly aligned so it made a cracking noise—it was fixed but the noise returned the day before we left. The lock on the door to our room did not work when we first arrived. The stopper on one of the sink drains did not catch properly. The latter two items were fixed but there is no reason we should have had any of these issues. There needs to be a far more thorough review of each room before any guest arrives. Given the excellent level of service in everything else at the resort this was extremely frustrating. These details are what make a resort top notch. We would like to return to this resort but not if maintenance issues like this continue. While each one is small by itself, and could be forgiven, having to spend half a day getting everything resolved really cannot be. Maintenance issues aside, particular thanks to Jose Rojas in the Market Café who has the most incredible smile I’ve ever seen. He is so engaging! He made me beautiful omelets every single morning. And his colleague to Jose’s right, who makes all the crepes and pancakes, etc., is amazing also. We recognized each other right away which was so wonderful. I’m kicking myself because I can’t remember her name (it starts with an “A”) as I’m writing this review. She is another person with a wonderful smile and positive attitude. Both of these people are in positions that guests might take for granted. They should not be. They make the Market Café a wonderful place. Special thanks to our butler Jeison; Rihanna, Melquiades, and Manuel for the culinary tour; Lessly (wherever she happens to be posted she is the best); Julio Santana in the Seaside Grill; Joel Smit, our server in Himitsu; Ivelisse in the spa; Ronny in the lobby bar; Clarisa, our hostess in Portofino; Yafreisi in the Market Café; and Enoc in Oceana. I have to end with a shout-out to the entire morning team in the Coco Café: Melvin Moto, Alexandra Martinez, Esther Alvarez, and Ramon Tejeda. They work so well together and are simply the kindest people. It was like the only thing in the world they wanted was to make me happy! (See my very personalized cappuccino in the attached photo!) Amazing! I wish these four had a coffee bar near where I live.

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. Check in was quick and easy, cold towel and drink after a long flight. Room was very nice ( 5603) . We ate at all the restaurants which were all very good. The pool was a bit cold but refreshing. The beach is beautiful, soft white sand, with plenty of sunbeds at anytime of day. Johan was our concierge, he is very helpful, sorted any very minor issues we had immediately. Came and found us in our favourite place every day to check all was well. All the staff are friendly and helpful, they are a BIG asset to the hotel!!! We would definitely recommend this hotel, and hope to return soon. Thankyou once again JOHAN and all the STAFF at Secrets.

My stay at Secrets Resort Cap Cana was absolutely fantastic! The resort was impeccably clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was fun and welcoming. I felt completely relaxed and truly enjoyed every moment of my stay. From the beautiful surroundings to the excellent service, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff at Cap Cana were excellent, beutiful beach and staff was very attentive. Food was good. The Spa is not the best but the staff was great. I would definetley return again. Great location and weather. We had a ocean front swim out which is great for easy pool swim anytime you want.
