Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort

Everything was amazing, from the check in process to the restaurants, I loved the sunsets we had in the preffered pool lounge also a shout-out for the girls in the 8th floor like Regina, Rousse, Sheyla and also the other guys like Carlos, Efraín, and Asael, they were fantastic and fun to hang out with! They were always attentive and made our time by the pool and beach even more enjoyable. Great service! We went to the French Bordeaux restaurant and we got served by Aldo, Luis and Maricruz, they were always anticipating our needs for the entire dinner, we went there twice because we enjoyed it so much! We will be coming soon!

100% of the staff we encountered treated us like a valued guest; almost like part of their family-they seemed genuinely happy to have us there. Resort is large so their is always a place to sun bathe or dine. Whale watching in the bay was an unexpected treat. Lots of walking because the resort is sprawling but no scary places :). We stayed on the Secrets side of the resort so didn’t spend much time at the watersides but they looked in good shape and well staffed.

Nice resort just missing some finishing touches. There's a little language barrier which made it a little hard ordering drinks at the different bars and dinners but the staff is very friendly. The food is good but not great other than a couple meals. We've been to 4-5 resorts and I would recommend this resort if they have good pricing when booking a trip. By all means it is a nice resort and we had great service but when we compare it to the other resorts it was our least favorite.

I just returned from 1 week, at SBM, with my wife, friends and family & it was a wonderful experience. First off, I want to compliment the great service by a few UVC staff members. Natalia checked us in, & her first impression genuine, kind, patient and professional & was attentive thru-out our stay. She came thru on assisting us w/room upgrades and restaurant reservations. Natalia was always a delightful person who answered our questions with positive demeanor, questions which she probable hears from every UVC week after week. Ivan was our butler & he was terrific. He checked in w/us.... via text during our stay. His service was wonderful... as he facilitated a Football Viewing party for our group in our suite. ensuring we had all we needed as far as drinks and food as host for this event. Ivan checked in via text all week and assisting us in our Restaurant recommendations and reservations. If you have the opportunity to experience the butler service at this resort... ask for Ivan. I can't say enough about Ivan, as he deserves these honest and sincere compliments. If all of our future interactions are this good, It will re-assure us that membership in UVC was a good decision. Ivan has set the standard. Overall, everyone whom we came into contact with in the UVC was great. Kassandra was always patient and kind when I was asking about our world of Hyatt points. On whole there wasn't any staff, thru-out the entire resort who was not professional & pleasant, from housekeeping, room service bartending, restaurant wait staff...they were all great The food is as advertised... the Italian, French options were the best in our opinion. The ladies in our group enjoyed the lunch options at Olio, and the Preferred Sky bar. We did take advantage of the Marieta's Cabana, this was great. Eddie and Victor were attentive and friendly. I'm not one to write long detailed reviews... so if after you read this, feel free to throw any questions at me via Tripadvisor.

Amazing week long stay. So many great things to do it’s overwhelming! The food was top notch and the views were even better. Hotel is in a great location for water activities like whale watching and surfing! The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Rose on the 8th floor was so helpful with getting into the preferred club and also made the check in process a breeze! I kept finding myself on the 8th floor, for the spectacular views and hospitality. My favorite trip by far and so many crazy and fun memories.
