Amazing in everyway. Rooms, ambience, pools, restaurants, spa, gym and staff. We have been to many Secrtes throughout Mexico, and this one is truly great. We chose the tropical view room for more privacy, and the trees are gorgeous you look over. Nobody can see into your room, so you can leave curtains open and just enjoy. As for staff, Victor, the head waiter at the Blue Water Grill (by the pool) is exceptional. We give him 5 stars, so friendly, professional and a pleasure to see daily, we miss you already...and the burgers are amazing! We cannot forget Erica from Olio and Market Cafe, she was also so pleasant, friendly and professional, a pleasure to see and of course Maria the young hostess at Market Cafe, she always made you feel welcome and put a smile on your face. Our customer service rep Anna, was exceptional, and we thank her for everything. Mucho gracias. Overall a fabulous experience.

I had high expectations for this place, but it did not live up to the expectations. It's a very large resort and it takes a couple of days to fully get acquainted with the place. There is lots of restaurants to choose from, but the food was just ok. We booked a 7-night stay and ended up leaving after night 5 because the food got us sick and the overall experience was just not good. The drinks here are watered down and the service compared to other Secrets hotels doesn't match up. Most of the staff always seemed bothered and were not the most attentive. Although there were a couple of people that do deserve to be highlighted: Efrain the concierge was such a sweet guy, came around a few times just to say hello. He even offered to clean our shades and kept us informed. Alejandro from the skybar was also very attentive, Ramses during checkin helped us get another room due to a bad experience with the first room we received. (huge hairball left in the room). Also booked a high floor on the preferred tower and was placed on the 2nd floor with a view of a broken-down pool. Ines our butler was a doll and was always available to assist. We personally would not return here due to many factors.

Great resort, excellent service overall. Food choices were amazing and no need to pre-book was nice, well worth the money. We will definately be back next year. Day trips to Saylulita & La Cruz were easy and quick ways to see a little more of the area.

Beautiful setting on the north side of Bahia de Banderas. The resort has everything, so you don't have to leave the property, but golf is close by. Many pools and restaurants and with an adult section, you can find quieter venues. You could spend a month here and not see everything offered.

Restaurants - Bluewater Grill manager, Alexi, went over and above to ensure we had a top notch experience in service and quality of food. Mezza/Olio manager, Rosa, made our dining experience very enjoyable. Maria, the hostess at the Secrets breakfast buffet was very hospitable. Entertainment/music - choices were very good with a major presence by the Black Sheep band. The silent disco was a big seller with many participants especially when they played a couple line dance songs. Also like that the DJ took song requests. Love to give credit to the entertainment manager who organized everything so well. Recommend moving karaoke to the amphitheater since most participants are dreams kids/family so the adult guests sitting in the lobby bar above the plaza area don't have to experience listening to the inexperienced singers.
