Mii amo

The over priced and over rated spa that is supposedly ZEN is 80% the location . The staff at the desk are not knowledgeable about the treatments. The description of treatment is off . So double , triple check . They add a 20% tip onto $400 treatments. BUT just wait you get a 1 hour access into a TINY steam room that doesn’t work an even tinier towel to barely cover you and a robe that doesn’t fit a size 14 or over . The treatment staff sometimes resemble someone coming off the street .. NOT super professional or knowledgeable. The food and restaurant and wait staff are fantastic.

I was staying at Enchantment and enjoyed it very much. So I was interested in the spa service. I went to the front and was taken by how beautiful and serene the area is. Unfortunately it stopped there. The girl working up front (Patali or something) had a very put on French accent and was rather condescending to me all I wanted to do was look into a Swedish massage. What's with the attitude, girl? She talked to me like I was her child. Didn't care for that one bit. Especially when I'm paying a kings ransom to even stay at the resort. First impressions are everything. Work on yours.

We had a fantastic spa getaway at Mii Amo. The whoe experience was fantastic from start to finish, we wished we coudl stay longer. This was worth the price to us, and I really appreciated the fact that we were never asked for a tip at any point in this stay.

The spacious casitas and the beautiful main building sit comfortably in magnificent Boynton Canyon. Don't expect to lose any weight at this spa, unless you pack ALL of your self-control -- the food is really good (especially breakfast!) and the portions are more than generous. There are many comfortable spots to soak in a pool, read a book, talk a hike into the canyon, or sit by a fire. Because most classes are 1-on-1 and there didn't appear to be any communal dining tables, it's a place to go for solitude or go with a friend.

I was sold on the idea of a tranquil posh spa hotel, and upon arrival, the service was above and beyond my expectations. This is a great place to relax, soul search and rejuvenate. Of course the spa services are exceptional, and there are also a wide array of interesting options. I highly recommend a stay here.
