The journey to Tiamo is an adventure in itself: There’s a 15-minute plane ride from Nassau and a boat ride into a sheltered cove on an island with a rich culture and only 2,000 residents. The paradisiacal beach is perched on the world’s third-largest barrier reef, where the Tongue of the Ocean drops 6,000 feet into underwater landscapes that served as backdrops in James Bond movies. Explore the crystalline waters with the aid of Tiamo’s PADI dive center, or while staying dry in a transparent canoe.

perfect tropical experience for me and my family, very nice food, incredible surroundings and very nice staff from the hotel.

Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money or vacation time at this resort. The website is misleading. The facilities and equipment are not maintained. Some of the villas look abandoned and there are old boats just stranded on the beach. There is no diving facility at the resort or anywhere nearby. This is not a luxury resort. The owner is not professional in manner or appearance. I could go on but let’s just say this place is a rip off and doesn’t deliver what it advertises.

This resort on this secluded island is gorgeous. We took two planes, a car and a boat to get to Andros. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. They went above and beyond for anything we asked or needed. The villas were clean and spacious. I've never seen water so beautiful. Water activities were great. Snorkeling was phenomenal. Biggest negative were the sand flies. We look and feel like we have chicken pox. We used the oils supplied by the resort and brought deet. Nothing worked. Unfortunately for me, the sand flies ruined an almost perfect romantic trip. I'm sad to say, I would not return because of the sand flies.

This is a fantastic resort for someone that wants a remote and secluded luxury location. The staff (Victor, Fred, Antoine) are fantastic, welcoming, efficient, and always ready to help. The food is delicious and innovative. Snorkeling at the many blue holes, caves, and island was marvelous. The rooms/villas are comfortable and private. The only significant downside are the insects. The main times they are an issue are at sunset and meals. We wore long pants and socks to avoid getting bit and this mostly solved the issue for us. Again, a fantastic resort that is a bargain compared to other alternatives at the same level.

Secluded resort that can only be accessed by boat or sea plane in an amazing location with beautiful beaches and clear waters. This is a peaceful resort perfect for relaxing while enjoying nature. Victor the host, always makes sure you have and excellent experience looking after every detail. Antoine’s chef food is excellent and manager Fred is always around to help. This was our second visit and we will definitely come back soon. Thank you!

We stayed at the beautiful Tiamo for a long weekend. It was a surprise gift and could not have been a better one. Our hosts met us at the arrival boat and it was the beginning of a truly pampering experience. Every one of the staff were friendly, fun and conscientious. Although many guests enjoy the resort as a base for bonefishing, we thought that their other watersport equipment was top notch and had fun with the paddle boards and clear kayaks in particular. The water is filled with wildlife and the overall feel of the resort is (very) quiet luxury. Between the palm trees, white sand, conch, ray and sea turtle-filled turquoise waters, this is quite the place. The food offerings are lovely to look at and delicious too. And we are foodies...my only comment would be to change up breakfast a bit. Continental offerings seem slightly out of place in such an environment – it would have been more interesting and delicious to have homemade muffins or similar treats rather than average croissants etc. All in all, it was hardly a reason to complain and leaving Tiamo is very, very difficult to do!

I spent an amazing weekend with my husband at Tiamo… We enjoyed all activities proposed, and especially the transparent canoe and the scuba diving in a blue hole. There are a lot of different wonderful and colorful fish and it's really a good experience to dive there. The team of Tiamo is very welcoming and the Chef cooks delicious meals every day. I highly recommend Tiamo for a quiet and amazing weekend!
