Peaceful, Rejuvenating Getaway—Amazing Food & Relaxing Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 17 hours ago

This was my second year visiting Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa with a group of women, and it continues to be a truly special, restorative experience. We stayed in a Sunrise King room, which I highly recommend. It’s a bit farther from the main areas, but absolutely worth it for the extra space, quiet, and overall sense of tranquility. The beds are incredibly comfortable—though a few in our group did find them a bit warm. The food is terrific—consistently fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of the stay. The spa is also excellent, with a wide range of treatments (though they are definitely expensive). I personally prefer the massages and body treatments over the facials—they felt more unique and worth the investment. The offsite hikes are a must-do and one of the highlights of the experience—beautiful scenery and a great way to get outside and reset. The classes are well-run and enjoyable, but if you’re an experienced athlete, you may find them a bit basic. Overall, Miraval is perfect for relaxation, connection, and recharging. It’s not about intensity—it’s about slowing down and being intentional. We’ll absolutely be back again.

Spa - best reason to visit

Have been wanting to come to Miraval for quite some time and glad we came for a short stay. Generally, we had an amazing time and it was very relaxing, but had some pros and cons. Pros: - stretching class - definitely grew 2 inches, 10 years younger and 10 pounds lighter as the instructor said. upper back felt immediately better after 45 mins of stretching - deep tissue massage with Tasha - she is REALLY really good. - spa with the wet room, cold plunge, and hot tub were great - the sauna could be hotter (the one outside by the gym gets hotter) - the dinner menu with the lamb - definitely get it. the lamb was phenomenal - the trail on the resort and the 2 labyrinths were really great - shuttle was really easy and helpful for pick up and drop off - many of the staff were quite kind and lit up the room Cons: - there was some bug on the chair that bit me when I first arrived and had to deal with bug bites for the trip - door to room squeaked really loudly and no "DND" sign - was in the room when housekeeping came by (seems that its a Hyatt policy not to have these signs anymore - strange) - on the last day, it took the breakfast crew 30+ mins to get me 2 eggs and toast. it really soured the end of the trip. - the bed topper made the bed somewhat uncomfortable and should have just taken it off completely - shower door was strange where it would not keep a lot of the water in the shower and poured onto the floor - gym could use some help - peloton bikes need to be serviced and peloton row doesn't connect to the internet, several machines had a out of service sign, and wipes were empty

Girls getaway!

Amazing girls getaway. Even though it’s an all inclusive, the food was all delicious! The spa was so welcoming. I could have spent another day there if I had time. I loved all my included and paid experiences. Everything was well worth it

Every year our group goes to Miraval for our annual wellness retreat. It never feels like a repeat there are so many things to choose from. The experience just gets better year after year. The staff is exceptional, the grounds are immaculate, the beds are beyond comfortable. We can't wait to go back!

Miraval is just wonderful!! It is truly a relaxing getaway that offers so much for everyone. You can push yourself to the limit with the ropes/challenge experience; yoga, pilates and other tough exercise classes; the equine experience; or just enjoy the spa with the most wonderful treatments. Loved every minute of it. The setting is serene, the staff couldn't be more helpful, and the spa treatments are truly beyond!!! Can't wait to go back!
