We had an amazing stay here! The people are truly spectacular and very kind. The service is outstanding, and the island is a magical place. I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s the perfect getaway for a relaxing time spent in a beautiful and natural location. The food is also incredible.

We have stayed at most, if not all, of the private island resorts in Fiji and we can say with confidence that Wakaya Resort & Spa is THE perfect tropical paradise. With beautiful beaches, crystal clear waters for snorkeling and diving, gorgeous accommodations, fantastic food, and an enormous array of indoor and outdoor activities, it's an unforgettable getaway for relaxation and adventure. We visited Wakaya for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was the best experience we've ever had! The staff is all top notch as they are extremely attentive to your every need and anticipate everything! As I mentioned, the food at Wakaya was a 10/10 and the staff were the most delightful people we've ever met!

We hosted our Wedding at Wakaya and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The most beautiful location, incredible food, and wonderful staff. Since it’s a small hotel; the staff to guest ratio is very high so you are well taken care of! We had a full week of activities and the team at Wakaya ensured that everything went smoothly and helped manage all of our wedding vendors for us. 10/10 recommend! Plus if you’re a scuba diver, there is no better place to see mantas - we saw up to 7 per dive- absolutely incredible! We can’t wait to come back!

Wakaya is an amazing resort! The staff are extremely welcoming and make you feel like family, the island is spectacular, the food is so fresh and to die for, and the atmosphere couldn't be more peaceful. We just had our wedding at Wakaya and it was an unforgettable, special week. The resort was able to accommodate our wedding parties (18 of us) and we filled the resort. Thus making the week feel extremely intimate since walking around the grounds or on activities/excursions, we only saw our group. Wakaya went above and beyond planning for the event as well. They initially asked for some decoration inspiration but beyond that, they handled the entire setup for the ceremony along with themed nights -- well surpassing our expectations. Couldn't recommend Wakaya more for your next vacation.

My partner Cindi and I are regular visitors to Fiji. We have visited over 20 resorts in Fiji, some several times. This was our second visit to WAKAYA and we are already checking flights for our third. The staff, led by Monica the assistant manager, were more than helpful. Nothing was too much for them and our holiday there was their utmost criteria. The dive shop crew, the food and beverages, guest services...everything was well above expectations. The diving was spectacular. For example, Wakaya has many miles of beaches and rainforest to explore. Cindi and I were held up on a hike along the beaches and were surprised to see that Monica had sent out a boat to look for us to make sure we were safe. Fiji has a lot of lovely places with different attractions for different people's tastes. If you want the real FIJI come to WAKAYA. Superb beaches, awesome diving, fantastic sunsets, beautiful rainforests. Great food. Above all....great people!!! Wakaya is a bit more expensive than other places, but it is worth every penny! The private transfers to the island are especially fantastic as this means less time on the mainland and more time where you want to be.
