This was our 5th Sandals stay and our favorite so far. The bus ride took 90 minutes but wasn't to bad. We stayed in the Starlight Beachfront One Bedroom Butler Suite w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. It was our 25th anniversary and our butlers had the room decorated very nicely for us. Our butlers were amazing they always had my favorite lunch of coconut shrimp and 1 day they did a special lunch with steak and lobster. We did a couples massage on the beach which was amazing. I heard lots of complaints about the sea grass but we were in the ocean every day near the OWB's and it was great. The water temp in the pools was perfect. The food was all good and the bars tenders weren't afraid to put alcohol in the drinks. The nightly entertainment was good we even participated in some. The only negative was only 1 hot tub had working jets but that was no big deal. We will be back to this resort!

My husband and I have stayed at 3 other Sandals resorts and this is our favorite! Massively long beach front and able to watch the sunset into the ocean every night. We splurged for Butler Elite room and had the most attentive service from Omar and Al: they found us my husbands fav, Guiness beer for our cooler each day and also recommended we try Jamaica's Dragon Stout - it was great! They also put up special decorations celebrating our Anniversary - twinkle lights and banner and special bath. Al and Omar quickly learned our fav bar drinks (lovers leap and running man) and brought us one every day in advance of our asking. We told Al and Omar about the football semifinals on Sunday and asked if the resort might set something up special so we could watch with others. Al and Omar brought the request to Sandals management and they opened the Martini Bar early on Sunday, arranged special food buffet and drinks and people had a blast! The beachfront room was perfect (#1325) with an incredible view of the ocean. I had a massage for the 1st time at Red Lane Spa and so impressed with services from Cassie - it was one of the top massages I have every had. Snorkeling was also very successful and we saw a lot of different colorful fish and sea urchins and starfish with just a 5 minute boat ride to the far side of the reef off the beach. My husband also did one day of scuba diving (2 tank dive) and saw 3 sharks among other things. Our favorite restaurant for dinner was Sushi on the Sand and Bayside also did an incredible job with breakfast buffet each morning. We learned from many other couples that Southcoast is a favorite among Sandals "loyalists" - some saying they had been 3-5 times and one couple even said they had stayed here 11 times! Is the 1.5-2 hour drive and investment of time to get from airport to resort ....yes, but so very worth it. We will defintiely be back!!

Sandals South Coast is a beautiful beach resort with several different types of rooms and building locations. There is a nice variety of restaurants that all have excellent cuisine for meals.

We had a great trip to Sandals South Coast! Everyone that we came across was extremely friendly and accommodating. They all went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Everyone greeted us with a smile every day. Rasheed on French Beach was extraordinary. He was very pleasant and checked in with us throughout the day. Shakela, our beach waitress was also great. She made sure we were well lubricated throughout the day :). The other person to call out was Othniel, who acted as our concierge. He went out of his way to bring us fresh coconuts for coconut water in our cocktails (rum and coconut water is the bomb!). He called us every evening to make sure we had an enjoyable time and see if there was anything we needed. We really appreciated the great staff. The food was good in all the restaurants. We have come to expect that from Sandals and we were not disappointed. The only disappointment was our room. There was no place to sit and enjoy a cocktail other than the bed and the 2 lounges on the swim-up terrace. There needs to be a seating area to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail, some peanuts or chips and chat. This room did not have that. we recently stayed at Sandals St. Vincent and the swim up room had an L shaped couch on the terrace with a cocktail table that was perfect for cocktails. It also worked perfectly for an afternoon nap after the sun during the afternoon as well as to sit comfortably and read. All in all, it was a wonderful trip with that one minor complaint. we will return to a Sandals resort in the future!

Upon arrival to the resort we were greeted and made feel very welcome especially from the Sandals Loyalty member Tinnelli. The grounds of the resort were very manicured and lined with beautiful plants and flowers. The beach was continuously groomed in chairs were spread out for privacy. The pool was large and spacious, not overly crowded. all of the restaurants and bars had minimal weights and servers were eager to help. Our room category was clean and had a good view, which was centrally located to the restaurants and bars and beach. This was our seventh time at Sandals and the first time in South Coast and we’ve already rebooked to return to South Coast as our experience was excellent.
