My husband and I had the best vacation of our lives here. The service was amazing, the staff was so helpful and friendly, and the resort grounds are gorgeous.

My spouse and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Sandals South Coast was the perfect experience. Beautiful, long, quiet beaches, excellent food and drink, beautiful accommodations and amenities. We had the two best butlers, Kamar and Joy, both of whom always made sure we had everything we needed. They even gave us a special surprise by decorating our room for our anniversary!

My (now) husband and I traveled to Sandals South Coast to get married! We had an absolutely incredible time, and we are really grateful to the on-site staff for all of their hard work. During the first half of our stay, we had a butler suite room, and we had the best experience. Clive and Recardo were our two butlers, and their service was unmatched. They were so thoughtful and did everything they could to make our stay as smooth and easy as possible. Whenever we make it back to this resort (because we will get back here one day!), we will definitely be requesting to have them as our butlers again. The resort spa, Red Lane Spa, was a perfect place for the girls to get ready on the wedding day. Everyone there, from the ladies at the front desk to the team that did our hair and makeup, took care to make a connection with us and do their jobs to the best of their abilities. Fiona did my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and she was an absolute delight. She was funny, personable, and did a great job styling my hair and makeup. I am very grateful to the Red Lane Spa staff! Tamarin and Rita were tasked with helping us leading up to our wedding day (as well as assist on the day), and they did a wonderful job communicating with us and doing everything in their power to accommodate our requests. We would highly recommend this resort as a place to rest, relax, and be rejuvenated! We loved having our wedding here and would do it all again if we could. Thank you, Sandals South Coast!

My first visit to Sandals South Coast in April 2021 was pure magic. My partner and I came to celebrate both our birthdays, and the entire experience—from the warm welcome to the energetic staff and unforgettable beach dinners—left us in awe. Staff like Orain and Nyroka went above and beyond to make us feel celebrated, pampered, and valued. We had our room upgraded, enjoyed room service, endless bottle service, beautiful entertainment every night, and some of the best personalized service I’ve ever experienced at a resort. It was the kind of trip that made you want to return again and again. Which is exactly what we did—coming back in April 2025 for another birthday celebration. Unfortunately, this second visit didn’t live up to the high standard set in 2021. From the moment we arrived, we noticed a change. We waited hours for our room to be ready with no offer of food or proactive hospitality. There was no upgrade, and even as Coral Members, we felt overlooked. Staff members often seemed disengaged and uninterested, which was a stark contrast to the high energy and joyful vibes we remembered. (Special shoutouts to Francois, Brenda-Lee, Steve, and Izodale for being the few exceptions!) However, it seemed like the resort was highly lacking in staff and possibly going through a new hire process. Even worse, I found hair in two separate meals during the same stay—one at Jasmines, the other at the Jerk Shack. After the second incident, I became physically sick, missed dinner, and spent hours vomiting and unable to hold down even water. While the Food & Beverage Manager, Justin, sent up a fruit plate, it felt like a small gesture for what was honestly a disturbing situation, especially given how much I had been looking forward to this trip. My birthday was during the stay, and besides the standard song at dinner, there was no extra effort made—no special setup, no surprise, not even a card. In 2021, I felt like royalty. In 2025, I felt like just another guest passing through. Room turn-down service was inconsistent, the mini fridge wasn’t restocked regularly, and entertainment was shorter and less engaging than before. That’s not to say the trip didn’t have its relaxing moments—being by the beach, enjoying the sun, and getting a great drink from Izodale reminded me of why I came. But overall, this return visit just didn’t deliver the “Sandals magic” we experienced the first time. We left feeling disappointed and unrecognized—especially considering how loyal we’ve been. Sandals, you set the bar so high in 2021. I truly hope you can return to that level of care and attention to detail. I wanted to leave this honest review not out of bitterness, but out of hope that someone else gets the kind of birthday trip we once had—and that maybe, just maybe, our next visit can recapture that magic again.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Sandels resort in Jamaica. It was my first time out the country, first flight, first everything and it was amazing! Special shout out to Abigail, she was amazing, down to earth, and extremely talented! Thank you Jamaica for an amazing trip!! Can’t wait to return ❤️
