I was disappointed with Zeotry. The restaurant and food selection were lackluster, with 1-2 hour wait times for simple breakfasts despite few people. The room service menu was a step down compared to Dreams, the sister resort we could visit. Poolside service was poor—servers rarely asked if we wanted drinks, even with hardly any guests and staff present. Our UVC rep JoJo was exceptional—she arranged for us to order from Dreams’ room service and secured a private dinner after a mishap, though it was double-booked. We arrived to find another couple there, but after I complained, managers provided two free T-bone steaks, which I appreciated. Overall, Zeotry felt lower-end than Secrets resorts. While JoJo and bartender Jason were fantastic and saved our trip, the resort’s issues—food quality, wait times, service—need addressing.

Not worth the money. Service is slow, food is mediocre at best and the menu is incredibly limited. Only 2 restaurants and 1 was closed almost the whole time we were there. Dreams restaurants are just as bad. 1 hour wait for a microwave pizza. Be prepared to get things for yourself if you want it done in a timely matter. I do not recommend Zoetry and definitely not Dreams. Every person I spoke to at Dreams had nothing but negative things to say about their stay. At least after Zoetry it is quiet and the pool is nice.

Pros: The grounds were gorgeous, quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and relaxing, the shower was amazing! The people are friendly and kind, always asking how your day is going and getting to know you. The bartenders in the evening were amazing! We didn't participate in many activities but did really enjoy the few we did, yoga in the morning, paint and sip and the cocktail class. It was also nice to have access to the sister properties. Cons: There is a huge lack of attention to the little details. Starting with our arrival, we were not offered a welcome drink and our "tour" was just walk to our room with the host point to what path to take to get to things. At meal time, we often had to ask multiple times for simple things like water. The food options were minimal on the room service and dinner menu. Our dinner menu only had three options and that was the same menu multiple nights in a row. There was often no one at the bar that is open "all day". The wait was very long to eat at the restaurants at the sister properties. Overall this resort has so much potential, they just need to concentrate on the small things and have more variety in their food options.

This is similar to other Zoetry places, serene, quiet and relaxing, except this one seemed like a miniature rain forest with a tropical and a lushes quality, with birds chirping around, giving a peaceful feel to it. The rooms were clean and well attended to. my only negative was the food service was slow, and inattentive (I gave it a 4 due to that), the redeeming part to that, is that you can dine over at Il Mare a short golf cart ride away. The food itself was excellent.

This was our 2nd visit to Zoetry and boy was it different from previous visit! Overall, we enjoyed our room and the food was good but the lack of dining options gets a little old. Our room was overall clean, but the large shower was absolutely INFESTED with fruit flies and our "welcome" bowl of oranges was moldy. The mini bar was only restocked 3 times and we had to request it all 3 times. Our biggest complaint is with Il Mare--the new pods at the Dreams across the street. Last time we visited, Zoetry had a private beach with a bar, 4 Bali beds and about 10 loungers. Now these Il Mare pods are right on the beach---they have all the appeal of a shipping container. They removed the bar from the beach and it's impossible to get service on the beach--at least for Zoetry guests. We couldn't even get towels from the staff. The sunbathing area is right in front of several of the pods---who wants to sunbath near someone else's porch? The highlight of the visit was our bartender, LaToya! We met her on our previous visit and she even remembered us! She was so friendly and her drinks were delicious!!! The island is beautiful and we loved exploring it, but sadly, I don't think we will return to Zoetry.
