The property is clean, attractive and well-maintained. The staff is well trained and truly motivated to provide excellent service. They are proud of their facility and their island, and they should be. Rooms, pool and bars are excellent. Food is good but not great. Overall, good value for money and would be happy to return.

Zoetry and Dreams are two separate resorts under the same umbrella. We stayed at Zoetry. Zoetry is small, intimate and you end up knowing everyone’s name. The restaurant food was excellent especially when Botanix was open and we sat around the pool watching the lights come up. The food was excellent. The young chef from Brazil, Willem not only cooked all the dinners he also held cooking classes. Valentina from UVC welcomed us and was a great help all week and addressed every concern. Livy, the entertainment manager went out of his way to offer programming for everyone who wished to participate. Livy offered and led Aquafit, Salsa and Zumba every day. One day he came up with a unique concept when Latoya, the best bartender went by and Aquafit and sip was born. In the afternoon Livy offered something different every day like crafts, Curaçao history and tasting with the 2 Viktors, bracelet making, paint and sip etc, Livy’s crew put on all the evening entertainment at Dreams as well. Unfortunately to visit the beach, to go to the other restaurants, to visit the souvenir and coffee shop you must go to Dreams. The beach is nice but all the cloth on the chairs is broken. The Portofino restaurant made us physically ill. It took 45 mins to receive the food which was barely warm. i believe it had been sitting out for so long the shrimp was off. Another restaurant, Seafood grill was out of the wine every other restaurant served us. My wife’s meal was inedible but mine was good. We gave up eating at Dreams after that. We were also soured on the entertainment when a couple came over with an ashtray and sat down beside us. I was trying to make the point that 2 people who smoke in a crowd of hundreds of non smokers shouldn't be able to plunk down an ashtray anywhere they liked. The location was right on the dance floor where the dancer’s dresses would sweep over it. Fire hazard? Apparently not. The manager explained that any spot not under a roof could be used for smoking. I was trying to make the point that had a smoking sign been provided I would have sat somewhere else. The issue was not resolved. The assistant manager said he would put in a report and someone would call us the next day. That did not happen. In conclusion, we really liked Zoetry and felt we were well taken care of. The Dreams in Curaçao I will never go back to.

We had a great experience. The hotel was all inclusive but had a smaller / non cooperate feel to it. They accommodated for everything. Awesome massage experience, great activities to do throughout the day, amazing poolside bar with awesome bartenders. We loved zoetry!

Zoetry staff needs more training. I'm aware of the buyout by Hyatt. You get the feeling as if some of them have gotten their notice of replacement and subsequently they don't care. Day one we had to switch rooms 3 times because the first room shower water was flooding the floor, second room the bed had clearly been slept in and wasn't ready for anyone. Breakfast will be slower than any Caribbean resort we've experienced, and that's saying a lot. The food however was usually hot, bacon isn't good quality. Stop serving that. I don't like overcooked food and it was a daily struggle to get eggs not overcooked. Breakfast table may or may not have appropriate silverware. May not be a big deal until you're drinking coffee and realize there's nothing to stir with. We tried to do basic things for ourselves but they have everything out of sight (sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, etc) making it harder to self serve. Bartender Jason is excellent, but he needs help. No reason why he should be leaving the bar unattended to go restock causing guest to wait 20 mins for 1 drink. Some guest attempted to make drinks themselves. I believe the other bartender is Toya. She does pretty good. Overall, facts are if this resort gets a high volume that Hyatt normally brings, they won't be able to handle it.

UVC staff have some serious work to do here. The service and the food and drinks were horrible. Unfriendly staff, rude and unaware of providing good service. If you go, stay ONLY in Zoetry and/or Il Mare where the service is "a bit" better. Do not go to Dreams across the street - however, that is inevitable.
