Reviews for Zoetry Curacao Resort & Spa

Just NO

Pros The bed and pillows were so comfortable! The shower pressure was perfect! The property is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful. Bartender Jason was a lot of fun. Cons... The Many Cons.... Customer service is disgustingly lousy. If the One restaurant that is there at an All Inclusive Resort is Closed, you all should make sure that your room service offerings are up to par. We were told that every restaurant was closed, to include those at Dreams. Have food readily available for your guests after they get off of a long and delayed flight. Even a snack bar with sandwiches or muffins would suffice. I am not talking about raggedy apples sitting in the room. Welcome your guests with a drink of water or something. A guest should not have to wait for several hours to be "put into the system." The room service app is a joke. Even after calling to confirm my order for food, which was placed at 708am, I Still had to wait over two hours. The kitchen had not even started on the food after an hour of waiting. I had to keep calling to check the status of my food. It does not take two hours to heat up boxed Pillsbury frozen pancakes! The night before, at 1030pm, I ordered a pizza face to face with the Bartender, Jason. He called the order in for me in front of me. Jason and I followed up after over an hour and the kitchen forgot about the order. Jason ended up cooking my pizza for me and by the time he was able to bring it to my room, I had gone to bed. That was after I had given up after waiting 2.5 hours. Having to wait for hours for food after a long day is diabolical. Jason was absolutely beautiful! He is a lovely soul. Staff need a lot of hospitality training. Their attitudes were either disgusting or dismissive. NO warmth whatsoever. I respect cultural differences. There, however, is a vast difference between being relaxed and never in a rush, versus just being outright disrespectful. It is disrespectful to have people wait hours and hours for food and service. We were met with frowns, attitudes, and dismissals. We were there to relax, not stress about food and service. The room HVAC system needs work. The condensation on the floors and walls is extremely dangerous. I was afraid that my roommate or I would slip and break something. No exaggeration. Because of the condensation, there was mold and mildew build up, which is also dangerous. My constant running nose led me to look for the culprit. Your "Welcome Home" motto is trash. I could not wait to get home. I was ready to leave the night we arrived. The "welcome" was not warm at all. No need for the trite response. No, I will never return and would never recommend anyone to stay at your property. Horrible. I hated this resort. I am glad to know that it was not personal, as many others had the same issues and were ready to leave.

Zen and Small - Nice 5 days away

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Nice place, very zen, but a few things need improvement. We thought we hit the jackpot pot when we were told we could use the new IL Mare facilities (pool, beach, bar, and restaurant) it had just opened 2 days prior. Unfortunately 2 days in they made the decision to not allow Zoetry Guests to use the pool and restaurant area. This was SO disappointing as the area is beautiful and this provided more variety on where to eat and where you can relax. Overall zoetry is Nice- it is small (but we knew that when we booked). I wish there was more variety with the food, but overall food quality is good. Staff are super friendly and kind and very much appreciated them. Shout out to Raven at the bar, Victor at IL Mare and especially Sherie the waitress at IL Mare. She was top notch. We had a great waitress for breakfast at Zoetry but can’t remember her name.

Needs Improvement

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Beautiful resort with good amenities & well appointed rooms. But the food ranged from exceptional to blah depending upon the venue but what was consistent was the very disappointing service. Seemingly, the resort has problems hiring quality workers (just like the U.S.) so while half the staff (the veterans) were friendly and engaging, the remaining staff & at times, shortage of help gave an overall mediocre service product. At the very least, the team needs better (any?) training to learn service standards … clear plates when guests are finished, provide the needed utensil when food is delivered, anticipate guests’ needs such as water service at the pool, engage with guests vs checking your phone or hiding in the corner talking to your coworkers. We visited mid-month before the Christmas rush w/ a guesstimated 40% occupancy… can’t imagine how lacking service will be over the busy season. If you like to be left alone at a resort - this is the perfect place otherwise, may want to wait for some improved reviews.

Stay away, If this is a 5 star resort it must be out of 50

We booked a room in the Il Mare pods at dreams. When we got there they werent available. They moved us to a sister property, Zoetry. We went from a private beachfront bungalow to a room with a parking lot view nowhere near the ocean. We had to take a golf cart to get to the beach.

Exceptional Stay at Zoëtry Curaçao!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

My stay at Zoëtry Curaçao was nothing short of amazing! The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The property itself is stunning, with every detail carefully thought out to create a serene and luxurious experience. The staff truly stand out—they were warm, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure every moment of my stay was perfect. There were so many little touches that I deeply appreciated, from the ease of free parking to the delicious food and drinks offered throughout the resort and the turn down service at night. Everything you could possibly want in an all-inclusive resort is right here, and then some. I honestly have no suggestions for improvement—it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return!
