La Perla del Caribe

We had an unforgettable experience at La Perla Del Caribe! The Diamond Villa was absolutely stunning—spacious, impeccably clean, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need or want for a perfect vacation. The staff at La Perla went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, from Star and her warm hospitality to the attentive groundskeepers. Their dedication to making our stay exceptional was beyond what I had hoped for. A huge thank you to Roberto for organizing our incredible excursions. He greeted us at the airport, arranged a smooth water taxi ride to the resort, and coordinated an unforgettable fishing trip with Reggae (Ernest). We also had an amazing Mayan ruins and cave tubing adventure with Angel, and ended the week with a fun snorkeling experience with Reggae and Joe. From the thoughtful welcome sign upon our arrival to the personal visit from Star on our last day, every detail was carefully considered and made our trip truly special. I can't speak highly enough of our time here. When we return, La Perla Del Caribe will definitely be our go-to destination!

We were so happy with our vacation at La Perla. The listing does not do it justice. The view alone is spectacular. We love the fact we had our own home to stay in, but it really felt like a resort. The location was perfect for excursions, getting into town, going to dinner or just hanging out at the pool. The house was spectacular for the 6 adults we had, it would have held more. Plenty of room to be together, but also room to be by ourselves. The deck was a great place to watch the sea and enjoy dinner or drinks. Lastly, but truly the staff was spectacular! From the first response by email to the last day of checking on our needs. Truly a fantastic experience. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing experience! Star (the concierge) was super helpful and Villa Emerald was extraordinary! We could not have had a better experience ! We are actually looking into purchasing a villa! Our excursion with captain Jerry was super fun….we fished, snorkeled with the sharks and stings rays, Jerry dove for conch and lobster and made us fresh ceviche. Was unreal!

We stayed for a week, 11 family members, and thoroughly enjoyed La Perla. We felt like we were at a resort while enjoying the independence of an Airbnb type stay. The staff fulfilled our every need and even one very unusual request. Safe, secure environment, with impeccably maintained grounds. Full grocery needs 30 minutes away in town, with most basic needs available 10 min away at Winey Gringo. Simply an over the top vacation home experience. Enthusiastic applause and thank you's to everyone at La Perla - we hope to return soon.

We stayed at Villa Opal. We loved it. There is lots of space, the kitchen is well equipped; we love the 2 outdoor sitting rooms that are enclosed with netting so that we don’t get eaten by mosquitos. One of those outdoor room has a hammock and I used it a lot. Great staff (like concierge) and Roberto for diving or tour activity. Good restaurants close to the villa. We will definitely stay there again.
