Beautiful chateau with very friendly hosts. Large grounds around which to wander. Chateau well maintained, beautiful decor. Large warm bedroom with lovely views. Food good but as explained by owners this is not a ‘fine dining’ establishment. Thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely chateau.

We absolutely loved every moment of our recent stay at Chateau Des Briottieres. Our room was magnificent and extremely comfortable. Both the dinners were delicious and charmingly served. The swimming pool in the walled garden is a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon, and we also had a couple of lovely walks in the park. We shall certainly return.

The chateau is stunning and Arnaud as the host was incredibly welcoming and kind. Our room was wonderfully comfortable and quiet. To have access to a lovely secluded pool was also a bonus and the evening meal was exceptional. The entire estate is tranquil and exactly what we hoped it would be. We also felt it was good value for money and liked the honesty system that Arnaud runs for the drinks before dinner.

This is a "must stay at" if you are in the area and have a car. We have stayed at numerous Chateau in Franc e and this is the one we always return to! Your host Arnaud is wonderful.... as is the food, rooms, and grounds. There is lots to do and see in the area, but remember to save a lot of time just roaming the grounds and relaxing. To get the best views please visit their web site.

My husband and I stayed at this Chateau for two nights and had a wonderful time. The chateau itself is gorgeous with multiple beautiful spacious bedrooms and grand communal rooms. The surrounding fields and forests for pleasant walks add to the experience. The owners are a wonderful couple and all the other staff were great too. It was nice to have a few days of "seclusion" away from cities. We enjoyed driving on tiny roads to a town about 20 minutes away for a very good meal as well. This is a phenomenal place to stay for visits to Angers.
