Great Hotel - very private with exceptional service and staff! Very good food and drinks - we especially enjoyed the fantastic breakfast and the evenings at the pool in an amazing atmosphere. DWI is shaking the best Margarita. The service is amazing - at breakfast and in the evening! We will come back! Our warmest memories: • The genuine staff who sincerely want you to have a great time in a comfortable way • Dinner by the pool under the lights in the trees, accompanied by live music or the glowing fire pits • The breakfast, which was excellently prepared, with perfectly ripe fruit and the freshly squeezed orange juice (without ice) as an extra highlight • The spa pavilion with truly skilled therapists. Well worth a visit for those seeking tranquility and something different. 🌸

The Damai is a lovely sanctuary in the hills above Lovina. We stayed in a pool studio which was very spacious and beautifully designed. The food, spa treatments and housekeeping were all outstanding. But it is the staff that make your stay so special. We were not very well during our stay and the staff were so kind and understanding. A special Thank you to Wulan or organised a doctors appointment for me, which sorted me out. Another huge plus is the complimentary transfer service. Our drivers were excellent, very safe and incredibly patient when we were beset with bad weather on our return to Denpasar. If you want a peaceful stay in understated luxury and away from the crowds We would highly recommend.

First of all, we would like to mention that this is a beautiful and well-maintained resort on the hill above Lovina, which offers a beautiful view to the sea. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout, but unfortunately that was all the positive points to mention, because the hotel management itself managed to spoil all our expectations and good vacation mood within the first 30 minutes. Based on the the reviews, we explicitly booked a pool villa with 143m2 via Agoda and paid for it, but on arrival we were downgraded in a much smaller pool studio with significantly worse facilities and views; with the reason that their agency had only confirmed a studio. So we intervened immediately and showed them the original booking confirmations, as well as the corresponding invoices which we had paid already months in advance. When we asked them not to carry out booking failures on the back of the customers, but to clarify such matters with their responsible agency and provide us with an appropriate villa; we were able to move into a villa in the evening, During our entire stay, however, we couldn't shake off the feeling that the hotel management is only interested in trying to rip guests off with overpriced prices and services. And that's what happened when we checked out: We were charged for an unjustified upgrade from studio to villa on our bill. In the meantime, we had lost our appetite for the breakfast we already had paid for, so we just wanted to get away from this place. This kind of behavior is an absolute shame for the management of a called 5-star resort. But the management should become happy with the extra ripped off money... The Karma will sort it out!
