In a tranquil corner of northern Bali,The Damai exudes a soft-spoken grace that mirrors the beauty of the region. This divine sanctuary is oeLovina(TM)s most elegant, intimate, and relaxed,” raves Fodor(TM)s. Each of its eight bungalows is tastefully adorned with antiques and beautiful textiles that recreate ancient Indonesian patterns. Nature is essential to the property, from the bungalows(TM) private open-air baths and the spa pavilion overlooking a neighboring rice paddy to the al fresco restaurant serving organic produce grown right on the grounds.

We stayed at The Damai for 3 nights and our stay was fantastic! The service was on another level. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and gave us so many good recommendations. they organizing a dolphin tour, a waterfall tour, and a clove plantation tour for us. Spa massage was the best I’ve ever had and the food in the restaurant is amazing! It was also beautiful to see the Balinese culture by experiencing the full moon ceremony. This was so much more for us than just a hotel stay, it was a amazing experience with excellent service, relaxation, and some culture!

Wow! What an amazing place. Stayed in a pool villa that surpassed all our expectations. The staff are a true credit to the hotel, they go out of their way to make sure you have the best possible experience. I was fortunate to celebrate my birthday during our stay and they really know how to spoil a girl! The food is delicious and served with such flair and obvious dedication. The grounds are astounding and the gardeners deserve praise too. The spa and staff also amazing. Thank you all so much. We will definitely be back. If you’re planning a trip to Lovina then it’s a must stay!

Stayed here for 3 nights while touring around Bali. A calm oasis. Villa with pool in beautiful surroundings. The staff were so helpful and kind. The food was very good, unfortunately I had picked up a tummy bug before arriving and could not enjoy the food as much as I had wanted to although my husband loved it.we celebrated his birthday there and thank them for the cake and wine. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Rarely do you stumble on resort experience such as The Damai.Damai in Indonesian means peace, which is the perfect description of this blend of Balinese hospitality, tranquility and 5 star accomodation and dining. In Lovina there are cheaper options but for a few dollars more than the beachside hotels your stay will be etched in your memory forever. We enjoyed a pool villa with a magnificent ocean view and comfort with superb understated style. The dining is wonderful with 3 course or al a carte options for dinner offering world class dishes presented by knowledgeable and happy staff. This is one stop on your North Bali trip you should not miss.

We cannot express how special this place is and how well the staff treat you. The hotel is in the most beautiful setting about 10 minuets from the town and beach, keeping it peaceful and unique. They provide a shuttle that runs to and from the beach, complimentary, and you just tell them whenever you want it and they provide it. The food is beyond delicious and presented stunningly. With the waiters/waitresses serving on your every need before you know you need it. The accommodation is clean, spacious, inclusive of all the extras (torches, conversation plugs, beautiful gowns ect). Turn down service and housekeeping do an excellent job and relieving you from any chores. The spa is out of this world, as is the complimentary yoga. The staff are what make this place. They are wonderful and the best we have experienced. They take the time to get to know you, make you feel special, and genuinely love and care for the hotel and guests with many of them working here 20+ years. We loved every minute and are sad to leave.
