Azura Benguerra Island

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at Azura, and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived, the experience was incredible, starting with breathtaking helicopter transfers over turquoise seas that set the tone for the incredible stay ahead. Our spacious Infinity Beach Villa was stunning, complete with a private pool, beach sala, and all the comforts we could ask for. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful host, Picardo. Whether it was setting up romantic dinners on the beach or making sure our favourite drinks were packed for excursions, his care and attention made our trip even more special. The excursions were unforgettable. Snorkelling at Two Mile Reef was a highlight, with healthy coral reefs and amazing marine life. We were lucky enough to see dugongs and swim with turtles, sharks, and rays. A particularly memorable moment was Sara showing us seahorses not far from the resort, such a special and rare experience! The Peri-Peri Beach Bar was another standout. We spent a perfect day there enjoying the pool overlooking the sea, an incredible seafood lunch and a variety of amazing cocktails. The staff at Azura Benguerra Island were all exceptionally friendly, going above and beyond to meet every special request with a smile. The ladies in the spa were so welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our treatments. It was such a relaxing and rejuvenating addition to an already perfect trip. The all-inclusive package was truly all-inclusive, offering a generous variety of delicious food and a wide selection of drinks. Azura is such a special space, where luxury meets genuine hospitality. We cannot recommend it enough and are already dreaming of our return!

Wow what a holiday destination! My Fiance and I came to Azura for a week for our honeymoon and it was truly the most amazing week of our lives! From the amazing staff who were never without a smile, their amazing service and kindness towards us was so appreciated, they went above and beyond every day to give us the best service! The food we ate during our trip was truly some of the best food we have ever eaten in our lives, 5 star and always made us want to step out our comfort zone because everything we tasted was always amazing! The actual resort and room we stayed in couldn't have been more beautiful, when arriving that crystal clear water was breathtaking and every room was so beautiful and made you never want to leave! The activities that were offered were amazing, truly adventures of a lifetime, learning about life on the island, and its wildlife was very special as well as our snorkeling trip - the sea life was unspoiled and so beautiful! It was very special to learn about everything Azura does for the community on the Island as well as what they do to preserve life on land and in the sea! Thank you Azura for the most special honeymoon, we feel so grateful to have spent some time in this amazing place and we will definietly be back!

Absolutely the most beautiful honeymoons spot. Staff is so friendly and goes wayyy out of their way for anything you could ask for. The island is perfect, villas are incredible, and food is great too. The excursions can be a tad expensive but they are optional. Robson was our host / butler and was the hardest worker I’ve ever met.

Incredible beach resort in an intriguing culture . Impeccable service. Celebrated our 40th anniversary (along with a few honeymooners). We’ve been to many high end resorts around the world - Azura is right up there. Would go back in a heartbeat!

This was the most special time for us. Nevermind the absolute beauty of a paradise island, we were treated like royalty by Edgar (Eddie) who thought of things before we would even ask and gave us special treatment by brining us prawns for a lunch when they weren't even on the menu. The employees at Azura are unique in the way they care for you. I made a special friend in Marcia who taught me Portuguese and Johnny who took us snorkeling and held my hand in the water guiding me and helped us find turtles, octopus and a reef shark amongst all the other beautiful tropical fish. He is also the Dugong whisperer and was spotted at least two of these shy creatures while out for snorkeling trips. Let me not leave out the best bar in the world voted by Conde Nast in 2022 - Peri Peri Beach Club. In my opinion still owns that title, it is sublime. Obrigada.❤️
