If you want a lovely experience with charm, outside the city center, this is the place. It feels very rural though it's right at the edge of Dalat. You can walk from here to the center of town in half an hour. We were upgraded to villa suite so we had two rooms and a huge bathroom. It's a little old fashioned in a good way. Old fashioned rather than outdated. Our king size bed was very comfortable, there are plenty of towels and amenities in the bathroom. The room is equipped with a fridge, a kettle, a safe and we had a plate of fruit on our arrival. Chocolates every night. Good ones. The breakfast buffet couldn't be better, catering to eastern and western tastes. We were even offered a tasty cappuccino. The passion fruit here is extremely meaty and sweet, the pho delicious the French pastries flaky and buttery, etc. No complaints about the breakfast options. We didn't have a chance to try the complimentary afternoon tea since we were out all day. My one complaint (which is why I rated this hotel 4 not 5 circles) is that because of the mosquitoes we were told to keep the windows closed at night. I don't understand why they can't put screens on at least one window so we can enjoy the cool night air. The room does have a fan which is very noisy (even at a low setting) and somewhat dangerous because the blades are very exposed.

Thank you, Ana Mandara Đà Lạt, for an unforgettable Lunar New Year (Tết 2025) experience! Staying here feels like coming home—a dreamy escape from the bustling streets of Sài Gòn. The tranquil atmosphere, vintage villas, lush gardens, and beautiful peach blossoms, all embraced by fresh mountain air, create a true place of serenity. What made our stay even more special was the warmth and genuine hospitality of the team. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Dung, the Director, and her dedicated staff for their warm care and support. We will be back!

We had a very comfortable, spacious villa. Nice, comfortable large bed and good sized bathroom with vintage bath tub. The property is well maintained, staff are wonderful and the food in the restaurant is good. Breakfast is great, lots of choice. The pool was also lovely BUT it can get a bit noisy with children etc., but equally some of the adult guests don’t read the signs about respecting other guests privacy. My suggestion to the hotel would be to put some loungers by each of the villas so that guests can enjoy some quiet near their respective villa’s. Otherwise I would say it’s faultless staying here and would stay again (I appreciate we stayed at a particularly busy time (Tet) so lots of families with children).

Lots of very nice things about Ana Mandara. The location, some 45 minutes from the airport and up on the mountainside and tucked among the pines, was very peaceful and quiet. The villas are renovated from historical French military villas originally built nearly a century ago, so lots of character. The entire property covers an area of several hectares, so there is plenty of opportunity for leisurely walk or jogs. They have a small, but very well-maintained heated outdoor pool. The place is about 2 kilometers from downtown Dalat; we walked it once, but it is mostly uphill on the return and taxis are cheap in Dalat, so we usually took taxi. "Old" villas mean character, but that comes at a price of some modern conveniences. For example, they have old antique tubs, which were difficult to climb in and out of for a shower, not to mention being a safety risk. The complimentary breakfast was good, but not outstanding (actually, I expected a bit better). On the other hand, the staff were all fabulous: friendly, attentive, and always helpful. Each day, the resort also offers a complimentawry afternoon tea, with several nice finger foods.

An amazing property and hotel to stay at in Da Lat. The hotel has beautiful grounds and our villa was gorgeous. The rooms in our villa were beautiful and very comfortable including the bed. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The resort manager spoke with me directly at breakfast both days I was there and shared great recommendations for the rest of our stay in Da Lat. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
