A charming location set within a stunning landscape. Spacious rooms with garden views, exceptional service, and friendly, competent staff. Delightful bar with a fireplace. Superb Michelin-starred restaurant. An oasis for a relaxing getaway.

This hotel is beautiful but dog friendly. If you want to pay top dollar to be disturbed by yapping dogs in other guest rooms, then go ahead and book. We considered asking to be moved but there were several dogs that could be heard along the corridors. We are increasing finding this a problem and will no longer be staying in pet friendly hotels.

A very beautiful place with huge rular area & vinyards surrounding the old Château. Lovely Michelin-starred restaurant, nice Bar & both outdoor and indoor pool area. Nice walking tracks in the surrounding nature! I’m returning in november 24 to see how things are during the off-season. They use some kind of strong scent in the hotel that someone highly sensitive (not me) could find disturbing.

Returned for a 4th time to Chateau de Berne and, as before, found it delightful. We stayed in a two bedroom suite in the main building. The suite was larger than the beautiful accommodations we usually reserve at the Chateau but it was worth it for us. We recommend eating at the Michelin-starred dining room at least once during a visit -- the food and service remain terrific. And plan extra time for breakfast because you won’t want to hurry through the delicious offerings. Lorgues and Tourtour are nearby and worthy of lengthy visits, but if you’re like us, you’ll find it difficult to leave the Chateau.

What a beautiful hotel and property. We enjoyed the lovely setting among the vineyards. Sadly the weather turned cool and we weren’t able to enjoy the lovely pool. We did walk through the vineyards and the garden. The staff were very service oriented and helpful including making off properly restaurant reservations for us. The breakfast dining area was so pretty and open with large windows. It was nice to start the day there in a leisurely way. Look forward to returning someday.
