Cannot speak highly of the banyan tree resort in Phuket they have amazing signature restaurants offering Thai and Japanese food We are pure vegetarian the chefs provided the best dishes our thanks to chef Tipa and Gai The Indian food was great provided by Vicky our special thanks to him The resort is highly recommended

Noisy resort
This is a beautiful hotel set away from the hustle bustle so you need to utilise the bus/boat to get to other bars and restaurants, smiling staff and a lovely villa, however… the building work! We were in Villa 836 right opposite and next to building work which started at 8am and finished at 6pm - the drilling and banging were relentless - we did record the noise and play it to reception but nobody seemed to be bothered - The Banyan Tree is advertised as a tranquil haven, it is far from it - beware

The crew at the pool were fantastic, super attentive and very friendly Thank you to O Gem, Chef Poo, Taiwan, Bear santosh, you guys were absolutely fantastic and made our stay very memorable. Out first time in Phuket and for sure not our last Thanks again

Wow wow wow
Wow just wow What an amazing hotel A must stay if your travelling to Phuket All rooms are villas with a private pool and lounge area and are extremely clean as are all other amenities, so much to do from bike hire, spa, free bus shuttle to nearby shopping centre, gym, golf course, two beaches, shops, several bars, separate deluxe pool areas and several restaurants on site you even get carted about Highlight of the hotel is the private river cruise dinner -what an experience Food was amazing, best we have tasted and a lot of it. Choice of drinks before you depart and choice of music to be played Service was amazing from both the chef, waiter and driver who joined in with the surprise cake celebration as it was my wife’s birthday -5 star plus service If you stay at this hotel you must try this! You stole our heart and we will be back

BYT was not for me! Alot to be desired!
The Hotel was ok, the butler assigned left alot to be desired as he seem unsure of what his role was and caused us to want to get out of there! Breakfast was good but the private chef experience needs a lot of work. For the kind of investment, it was not what I heard BYT to be! below average for this one. Spa experience was better on day 2, after therapist damaged wife shoulder on day 1.
