Banyan Tree Phuket

Today we had the great opportunity to cook three different Thai dishes with Poa, one of the chefs of Saffron, the Thai restaurant of Banyan Tree. His assistant Bee was helping him. The dishes were: 1) Tom Kha Gai, 2) Pla Raad Prik and 3) Kaeng Phed Goong. We prepared everything by ourselves - including the chili paste - and were then insructed to cook the dishes. While we were doing this, we had also a lot of fun with Poa and Bee. Nevertheless, all our questions were answered competently. It was a great experience and we feel absolutely capable to cook these meals at home.

I love my stay at Banyan Tree Phuket. The villas are well maintained and the service is impeccable. One of the highlights was our in-villa BBQ dinner. This is the second time we are ordering this and the experience is even better than two years ago. I also loved the spa experience. My therapist, Odette, is very skilful and managed to provide a strong yet relaxing massage.Love the inclusion of meditative elements at the beginning and end of the session. This really helped me relax. I appreciated the finer touches such as the use of warm towels and the warm heat pad for the back.

This is my second visit to this top notch welcoming hotel.The individual villas all have private pools.The staff and service are second to none. There are several restaurants and the food quality is excellent.The extensive international breakfast buffet is a real treat. The happy hour in the main baris a great idea. I will definitely return for another visit

It was good for Thai restaurant. The Meew and Eye served so nice. Food and wine was fantastic. We really enjoyed. I want to come back this place again in near future.
