The Ritz Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert

Absolutely loved it here. We originally had an Al Rimal villa, which was more than adequate and very spacious, but we upgraded to an Al Khaimah villa after one night, for the better view - and it was well worth it. Amazing view of the sand dunes. Very peaceful and quiet which is exactly what we wanted for a relaxing break. I loved how the animals and birds were just wandering about within the resort - including a delightful baby Arabian Oryx as well as loads of sand gazelles (and cats!) . Having bikes to get around was a nice touch. The housekeeping staff were amazing, with great attention to detail. The breakfast buffet had a good range of hot and cold food, including a lot of healthy options. Wylde from the staff in particular was lovely. We really loved both Zuma and the Farmhouse restaurants. Yee from Farmhouse was outstanding in terms of service and was great to chat to. The in-villa dining menu was decent too. There was a good range of activities - we did the sunset camel ride, the safari drive (with Fred - brilliant and knowledgeable) and I did the Rainforest spa which was fun and relaxing. The gym was well equipped, but a bit too hot to use properly or for a long time. Totally recommend this place for a chilled out relaxing holiday.

Charith, my butler was extremely helpful and accommodating. He was available at all times and serviced all my requests. He also helped me plan the perfect proposal for my girlfriend and made sure the entire experience was smooth and faultless.

We had fantastic two days in this resort. Villa is so beautiful, Arabic style, private swimming pool with fantastic view. A lot of gazelles and oryxes everywhere. Amazing restaurants with Michelin stars. Staff is so polite and ready to help. Buggy’s driver Pablo is very cheerful and polite, showed us beautiful places and spots for taking pictures, took a lot of beautiful pictures for us and made our mood even more better. It was my birthday and the villa was with nice surprises for me like so tasty cake and inscription on the bed. Strongly recommend place, you should try to visit.

Beautiful Property! We had an amazing time. Very friendly staff. Our friend Amir there made sure our stay becomes extra special. Neeraj was another one who made extra efforts to help us. The villas are exquisite. Super clean and luxurious. Would love to come back soon.

Very beautiful hotel in the middle of the desert , with a lot of activities, very clean villas with private pool, big spa , helpful and friendly staff, special thanks for Amr , who took a good care of us . Definitely going to come back here again .
