Escape to a place that is quintessentially French, yet exhibits a decidedly modern style, at Domaine des Andéols. Located in Lubéron, less than an hour's drive from Avignon, this country estate breathes classic Provence lifestyle at its very best, while bringing guests an artistic and contemporary environment. Guest houses are dotted around the property, charming abodes with a mix of stunning décor. A brilliant white cocoon best describes Maison Blanche with its peaceful blank color palate, and saturated hues of purple and blue make Maison des Terrassess a sensory pleasure. Multiple bedrooms, fireplaces, and private gardens are just some of the individual touches throughout. And rooms are equipped with wireless internet access and air conditioning, ensuring the utmost in comfort. Start your stay by simply exploring the property itself - on foot, by bicycle, or even on horseback - and take in the picturesque landscape in every direction. Domaine des Andéols grows orchards of cherries, apricots, melons and grapes, which you can enjoy as fresh juices with breakfast, and also hosts more than 50 varieties of tomato plants.

This was our second visit to the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in the Maison du Voyageur, a 2 bedroom ‘house’ which is attached to the hotel, and which we had to ourselves. Check in was efficient; we arrived a little early and sat by the pool for a few minutes with a welcome drink. That the Voyageur house is eclectic is an understatement. African themed, the downstairs salon which has a double-height ceiling includes a full size palm tree, a full size tiger (stuffed), a working kitchenette with a proper fridge but no pots and pans. But also the normal comforts for a hotel suite - a comfy settee, a big TV, a fireplace, and doors opening onto a private garden with a dining table and chairs for 6, a private heated swimming pool and sunbeds and umbrella. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms, conventional except for African art on the walls, both en-suite, with one separate toilet. Note that each of the bedrooms has a bath but no shower, which we felt for a property of this quality was a serious omission. All the usual amenities were there and of high class. It was a real fun experience. Breakfast was an extensive buffet, with eggs cooked to order. Very enjoyable. All the hospitality team were caring and enthusiastic. In summary, a really high class hotel with no flaws - except the lack of a shower.

Terrible restaurant! Don't go near! Even the breakfast is bad and messy. Pool was out of comission so no experience there

It’s the attention to detail that gets you noticed, but the lack of attention that gets noticed more. Three night stay in a “Nature” suite was pleasant enough but not exactly fabulous, unless maybe home is a city centre apartment somewhere. Patio garden overgrown, housekeeping distinctly lacking on amenity replenishment and, in keeping with many modern hotels today, motion sensor lighting that is more of a hinderance than a help. Overall staff were quite friendly but not exactly efficient, booking for a hairdresser took over an hour with no result. Two minutes on Google and a phone call later, done. Finally the restaurant. Unfortunately, my wife was ill for a few days (not due to the hotel I stress) so we did not get to try much, but the final dinner in the rather eclectic restaurant setting saw a single langoustine of shrimp proportions (at Euro 38) and duck that had to be returned as too tough to even cut. Overall very poor standard, which could also be said of breakfast. Standard motel fare I’m afraid. A shame, could be so much better.

We had a wonderful experience at les Andeols. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The domaine is huge and it was so much fun to explore the property. Although, we’re a little bummed we didn’t get to take a dip at the pool because it wasn’t heated. Thank you for a great stay.

17-hour flight to Milan, 3-hour drive to Monaco, 5½-hour drive to Domaine des Andéols—every second worth it to come to paradise. The art is exceptional and the service is impeccable. We can not wait to return. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
