Tony provided excellent services to us, providing host seating, chauffeur, concierge and personable and friendly Conversation. Made our stay most enjoyable! He even found hair spray for me and provided recommendations for many local attractions.

Back from a girls night last weekend in the K Club. It’s been a few years since my last visit so was very much looking forward to trip. I have visited several times in the past with some lovely memories. However poorly trained staff really let you down. Early check facilitated which was great and had a lovely facial and massage in the spa which is however a ridiculous distance from the hotel. Fabulous room with great view. We ate in the club house and to be honest the service there was not what I would expect in the K club. Host was not pleasant ( observed him being quite rude to a couple ahead of us who had no booking but were guests) and we had to ask to get drinks and order food. Had to pour own wine etc. However, there was a changeover in staff during meal and the replacement host/ manager was lovely. Cocktails then in the bar back in the hotel which were presented excellently . Bar was v busy but again servers not the most pleasant. There was a large group in after a champagne tasting dinner- they probably should have been accommodated elsewhere as they really ruined the atmosphere and staff were over run. All in all a lovely stay but left feeling a bit ‘meh’ and not sure will be back soon after spending close to €1,000 for one night and not blown away. Very Happy to pay the prices but only with service to match. Would also suggest upgrading breakfast. Was 3 star level at best. Would also ask that drivers doing shuttle to club house are not using phone when driving.
