Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, features 213 luxurious rooms and suites, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. Beach day
Incredible and very friendly experience. The food is top notch and the atmosphere is fantastic. Dhan was more than welcoming and helpful throughout our experience at the pool and beach area . We will never going to stop coming here . Its such a dreamy place .

A wonderful hotel where you can feel at home. The staff were incredibly helpful. Good healthy breakfast buffet. The restaurants in the hotel are also fantastic. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The two pools were perfectly adequate in winter. It's difficult to say what it's like in the summer months.

Perfect Valentines celebration at Shanghai-La Abu Dhabi
My wife and I celebrated Valentines Day her with their Romantic package, meaning we enjoyed a private abra boat ride around the property followed by dinner at a small private cabana on the beach separate from all others with a candle lit pathway leading to the dining table with heater and a setup lounge area with bonfire ready for desert. Everyone from the valet to concierge to boat driver to our wait staff, Dhan, and restaurant manager, Kamal, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was unforgettable. The food and drink was abundant and delicious. We definitely recommend this package for private couples celebrating something special.

Beautiful hotel, terrible check in experience
We changed to this hotel from Traders (sister hotel next door) as there were not enough beds for our family when checking in to Traders (even though we had paid a supplement for our 4 year old). It took over 2 hours to sort our new room (we arrived at 2pm and didn’t get in to our new room until after 4pm with 3 small children going out of their minds!!) And for all of this we were forced to pay an extra 1200AED (on top of the 1890AED we had already paid for our booking at Traders). The worst part was really not the additional cost but the fact that we pretty much lost the afternoon we had planned there. The hotel itself is lovely and the pool area could be beautiful however the floor is dirty and the towels are threadbear and have holes in. Breakfast and dinner were lovely and the staff in the restaurant were excellent, a world apart from the staff at reception.
