WONDERFUL WEEK

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We visited as a couple in Feb 2025, having researched many places for a relaxing, adult golf break. It was our 1st visit time at Tikida Golf Palace and it won’t be our last. We had the most incredible week and the hotel, staff and experience exceed our expectations. The morning we arrived it truly felt like we had walked into paradise. We received a welcome drink on arrival and were allocated the most beautiful suite with views of the golf course. The rooms are amazing and beautifully decorated, with sofa area, walk in wardrobe and dressing room, rainfall shower, sunken bath, huge furnished balcony, and amazing large and super comfortable bed. We had lots of little extras, fruit on arrival, mineral water and chocolates topped up daily. A great selection of toiletries, robes, towels, and daily housekeeping with personal touches. We were very lucky with the weather 28 degrees and endless sunshine. In mid Feb it’s a little fresh in the mornings but by 11am the heat in the sun comes through and it was more than comfortable to relax and sunbath and definitely excellent gold weather. We booked bed and breakfast as we wanted to try a few local restaurants. We have travelled to Morocco several times and like to have the option to eat out. We ate at Pure Passion which is by the Agadir Marine and La Scala in the centre of Agadir, both meals were excellent, and we combined the trips with the free courtesy bus that the hotel runs from the hotel to Agadir centre – the bus is approx. 10-15 minutes. La Scala offer a free courtesy bus that will take you back to the Tikida Golf. On the other days we ate at either the hotel or the golf club and we really rated the food at both. The clubhouse is relaxed and excellent value for money and perfect for lunch or a cold beer with the best of views. The meals at the hotel were great and the restaurant service was run very professionally and had a lovely atmosphere. My husband played 3 rounds of golf on the blue, red and yellow courses and the blue was definitely his favourite. The courses are all fantastic, caddy’s are very helpful and reasonable to book. Plenty of buggies and trolleys to hire and the driving range by the clubhouse was great. The hotel is truly wonderful, and the staff are incredible – you can really feel the family vibe amongst the team and everyone seemed so happy in their roles and could not have done enough for you. A special thanks you to Hassan in the restaurant and also Mustafa at the golf club – so warm and welcoming and excellent at what they do. We are cat lovers so we also feel in love with the hotel cat – little Martina. We will be forever be grateful that we fell upon this amazing hotel and are counting the days until we can book a return visit. If you are seeking a trip that combines relaxation, golf and an amazing location – look no further than the Tikida Golf Palace. Hope to see you all soon and thank you TEAM TIKIDA for wonderful stay.

First class service here

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

I joined a small group of golfers from the UK on 1 December for 1 week. The Hotel exceeded my expectations. Service was first class. My room was larger than I expected and immaculate. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice and a choice of evening Menu was also available. The two golf courses were in great condition and provided a good test of ability. The golf range mats were looking a little tired however. Please note that Euros as well as Dirhams are accepted and that the staff speak English as well as French. This was my first trip to Morocco.

Hard to leave

Second visit to this gem of a hotel recently refurbed a few changes have not detracted from the local Moroccan feel and hospitality offered by the amazing staff. The breakfasts overlooking the lake with many waterfowl including cranes add to the joy of a stay here. Rooms are extra large balcony with both settees and table and chairs superb quality showers and bathtubs. Dinner with a limited menu is of high quality. Any issues swiftly dealt with by the friendliest of staff so sad to leave this little piece of heaven but already plotting our return .

Fantastic find

Beautiful small hotel. Lovely greeting on arrival with a complimentary drink given to us until our room was ready. Staff were fantastic throughout especially the lady on reception and Rasheen in the restaurant. Room was huge with a lovely patio overlooking the golf course. Room was spotlessly clean with lots of extras which were great. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices. We had dinner in the hotel a few times which was lovely but limited menu after a few days. The golf was great and we played three times during the week and had reduced green fees as we were staying in the hotel. The only downside was it was very very quiet in the evenings. I think even a little music in the bar area would have helped. We did go into Agadir a few times to try a few other restaurants but not a lot to see there. We would definitely return for a short break in future.

Fantastic Short Break

This hotel was exactly what we had been looking for. The whole experience is one that we will remember. Quality standards were high, both in the hotel as well as the restaurant. We have already decided to rebook a return visit June 25. I would very easily recommend it.
