This was easily the most wonderful hotel experience we have had! The location, rooms, gardens, facilities and food were all fabulous! All staff were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll be definitely going back to this amazing historical little town and gorgeous Hacienda.

I can't say enough good things about the Hacienda. We flew in with a group of small planes for the Club de Pilotos de Mexico winter gathering. There is a landing strip 10 minutes from the hacienda. The staff was without exception welcoming, friendly, efficient and accommodating. The property is spotless, beautiful and fun to explore. The room was cozy and comfortable with a comfortable bed and enormous bathroom. If you want, you can have the staff make a fire for you in your room. Every room has an outdoor sitting area. The building we were in had it's own courtyard with a small pool (unheated), with chaises and towels. It was peaceful and beautiful. Every meal was delicious and generous, as were the drinks. I requested a vegetarian menu and had my choice of lovingly prepared dishes. At dinner, white tablecloths and candles were de riguer, as was live music. There is a theatre on property where you could request to see any movie you can find on Netflix. The hacienda had arranged some tours for our group and provided transportation in comfortable vans. The village seemed safe to walk around in. This had to be one of the best vacations we had ever had. Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful place to stay. I was in Santa Cecilia room and it had a foyer before entering the larger room-it was nice for privacy as a solo traveler. I chose not to but for a fee (200 pesos) I could have had someone build a fire in my fireplace-I didn't spend many evenings in the room. The continental breakfast is part of the room fee and it was delicious: coffee or tea, fresh orange juice or a plate of fresh fruit, yogurt and granola with fruit, and a cinnamon roll with pecans or two enormous slices of thick toast with butter and marmalade. I didn't order off the Ala carte menu. Outside my room there was a lovely unheated pool and several places I could sit under cover to read or relax. There are books available to read. Filtered hot or cold water is provided for drinking and there is a hotel refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. And, it is walking distance to both town plazas, the beautiful city hall and cathedral, and many restaurants. Staff is friendly (always say, "Buenes Dias.") and helpful. I also had a mani/pedi at the spa which was delightful-best I've ever had. For my limited Spanish, the staff were accommodating. I also ate dinner at the restaurant 3 nights and the food was delicious (margaritas were a bit small). Try the creamy cilantro soup! Yum! And the Curry Chicken salad! The bed and pillows were sink into delicious! I slept well and enjoyed the comfy chairs in my room, too. The chapel is a must see including a liturgical ornaments museum and a well-preserved 100s year old hymnal in Latin. Check out the wafer irons in the back near the entrance.

Hotel is great! Great facilities, rooms, restaurants! Whatever we needed was fulfilled immediately by staff. Night event was spectacular. Staff always there for any detail, any minimum of details. We'll be back with my family soon. Love Hacienda Santos

We just returned from a fabulous 4-day stay at the Hacienda. We had heard so much about historic Alamos and the Hacienda de los Santos and had seen pictures, but they just don’t do justice to our amazing relaxing experience. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful gardens and courtyards with pools, fountains, flowers and colonial style furniture and details everywhere you look. We loved our room with a very comfortable bed and most important it was very quiet. The staff are warm and gracious, and we enjoyed talking to them and learning that they feel like family. The meals were superb, and their Cantina has over 750 bottles of Tequila! It’s an experience like no other.
