The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty

Amazing hotel as this this is the Luxury premium 5 Star Hotel in Almaty. I love the way the remember your name and always address you by your name 👌 I will always stay in Ritz carlton all across the world. However food is crazy expensive as compared to RITZ carlton standard

Ritz Carlton Almaty excelled in several areas but the best bar none was the service especially in the concierge and Seven restaurant. We celebrated our anniversary in Seven and the food and service were impeccable, truly of fine dining calibre. They got my wife flowers and gave us a complimentary cake. The staff wrote a sweet note and the chef came to greet us at our table, so much dedicated and detailed attention. Next was the concierge, they were all very helpful and always provided suggestions with a smile. We want to reserve special praise to Amina at the concierge. She was very friendly and really made a difference during our stay, even giving us some personal gifts. There was also an incident when my ATM card was confiscated by the ATM in the hotel. Amina handled it so well, assured us things would be ok, coordinated with the bank to retrieve our card (without us even needing to go to the bank) and delivered the card to Astana after we left the hotel. Service and going the extra mile can’t get any better than that. Ritz Carlton is very lucky to have someone like Amina in their employment. Thank you Amina! The only minor drawback of the hotel is that the room was on the smaller side especially for the price of $700 per night so this may not be for the price conscious. But they made up for it with the super service provided.

I spent six days at the hotel with my friends and had a wonderful experience. Pros: Luxury hotel with top-notch service Friendly and helpful staff Stunning 360-degree views of the city and mountains from the restaurant/bar Delicious food Conveniently located next to a high-end mall—perfect for shopping! Cons: Accessing the rooms requires changing lifts. Guests must take one lift up to the bar/restaurant on the top floor and then a second lift down to the rooms. This can be a bit inconvenient if you need to return to your room for something, after having come down. Overall, a fantastic stay with a minor logistical hassle.

To celebrate my birthday and the 110th country I visited, I decided to stay at the Ritz Carlton Almaty. They really spoiled me with a beautiful room, birthday cake, and exceptional service. Two gentlemen to note were Nurtogan and Yerlan who went above and beyond to make my birthday super-special!!! All the food and drinks at the Ritz Carlton Almaty were fantastic. This is definitely a place to book for your next special day, event, holiday, or weekend getaway. A truly exquisite, 5 STAR experience!

I am writing this review after two months for a reason. I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights as part of a large business group. I fell ill and had to go to hospital. Doctors were Russian and able speak or understand English. Hotel deputed an executive who arranged ambulance, went with us to hospital, worked as interpreter till late in the night. Next day also , same person is deputed so that follow up can be made with doctors. Great support at the time of difficulties. I had to get operated once back home and hence delay. Executive was Adil and I convey sincere appreciation to Adil and hotel management. Hotel was excellent. I stayed in a suit. Very large well appointed room. Sofas , tv in both drawing and bed room. Comfortable bed. We reached late in the night. We requested hotel to keep dinner in the room. Dinner was kept in hot case. Breakfast spread is very good. Lot of vegetable options were there. Fruits and sweets spread were good. Non veg, egg all options were there. Bathroom was well appointed with good shaving options and other normal stuff. Stuff were helpful.
