Tama, the restaurant, is a place to come together and experience an immersive culinary journey through time. With farm-to-table practices and sustainable agricultural methods. The food & beverage concept infuses Saudi & Middle Eastern cuisine, using local, fresh ingredients, such as spices once traded along the incense route, bringing Saudi Arabia’s unique flavors to life.

Reviews for Our Habitas AlUla

Thankyou, Habitas AlUla...from House#22 :)

Well well well!!! Wow wow wow!!! Not sure just quite what to say well, apart from, WOW! Must say that AlUla might not have been at the top of the bucket list, but in hindsight it would definitely have been on it. This place is incredible in so many ways; a real beauty of an oasis in the desert. And now for something completely different, for sure 🙌✌️🙌 However, the pièce de résistance is most certainly, Habitas AlUla! Holy smokes, the most beautiful hotel with the most incredibly nice, smiley, kind, happy, attentive staff, from all over the globe. Quite literally in the middle of the desert, but so easily and quickly accessed from AlUla airport - just like everything in AlUla and especially at Habitas AlUla - it's all so easy! Special mention must go to the two chaps who made coming back to our 'house', #22 each day a joy - like walking back into a brand-new hotel room each time we left it!! ALL THANKS AND PRAISE TO: Rana & Humayun!!!! Thankyou so much 🙌✌️✊👊😎🫡And a restocked mini-bar full of our new fave alcohol-free beer....'Moussy'! 🙂 More praise be to the main men in the restaurant/ pool-side, Amer & Malek - you guys really made such a nice difference to our stay, thankyou thankyou, thankyou! All the very best and can't wait to come back, from #22 🙂 wappingacc@hotmail.com

We enjoyed our stay in Our Habitas. Hasán the pool lifeguard is very professional. He is friendly, and provided very good service and made sure we felt like home! He even helped us to take a lot of pictures at the pools popular spots. I would come back again.

Great people - complete zen

I had the pleasure of staying at Habitas AlUla during the recent Keinemusik event, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The location is nothing short of magical—nestled among the stunning desert landscapes, with every detail thoughtfully curated to blend nature, comfort, and culture. A special shoutout to Zakariah and Jacky, whose service went above and beyond throughout our stay. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made the experience even more memorable. It’s rare to come across hospitality that feels both professional and deeply personal—Zakariah and Jacky truly embodies that. Thank you to the entire Habitas team for creating such a unique and welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!

Disappointing experience at Our Habitas AlUla

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We were looking forward to our trip here and we booked our stay with Caravan AlUla by Our Habitas. When we checked into our Caravan (number 110) at around 4plus pm on 27 March 25, we were briefed by the receptionist about all the wonderful things we can do in both Caravan AlUla by Our Habitas and Our Habitas AlUla. We were told that the swimming pool will close at 9pm during check-in at 4pm and hence we took our time to settle down in our caravan and happily drove over to Our Habitas AlUla close to 6pm for an evening sunset swim. Upon reaching the pool at around 555pm, a female staff at the entrance of the pool asked for our room number and my wife told her we don’t stay here but at the Caravan site instead and gave her our caravan number. When we asked for towels, a male staff by the name Moshin came over and told my wife that the swimming pool will close at 6pm during the Ramadan month. My wife still clarified with him that our Caravan reception staff told us that the pool closes at 9pm but he insisted that the pool closes at 6pm during Ramadan. Being an understanding hotel guests, we abided by the hotel’s rules and shrugged off the missed opportunity to have a sunset swim. Instead we decided to just enjoy the surroundings with picture takings. But during the 50 mins we were there, other guests continued to stay in the pool even after 6pm and new guests even entered the pool and provided with towels around 6:30pm. Puzzled , we asked the other male staff who gave out the towels “why is swimming still allowed after 6pm” and his reply was “these guests were not cooperative and insisted on swimming but he had alerted the security” yet 30mins passed and no security came and when we left at 7pm, they were just getting out of the pool. To show our displeasure at rules being enforced on different guests, we expressed our thoughts and comments to the male staff who handed out the towels and sensing out displeasure, offered damage control by offering us to swim in the pool anytime now and offering us drinks and even alerted the Tama restaurant’s manager who was higher level. He furthered offer damage control like free dinner and even offered to lay out the sunbeds for us to swim before or after dinner. All these damage controls were commendable but it came too late amidst our enthusiastic holiday mood to enjoy our stay at Habitats being dampened pretty much. Will think twice about recommending Habitats to friends as staff’s information consistency is apparently shockingly lacking. Such minor details and make or break a guest “experience” and yet Habitats emphasise so much on their “guestexperience@habitasalula.com” review. This bad aftertaste guests experience is really memorable in an extremely bad level.

Great hotel, really disappointing service and communication

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The hotel is beautiful and the activities available make it a really enjoyable stay however there are many areas that were disappointing. Our check in was incredibly vague, we were told our room number and given a key and told where breakfast will be and given a form to sign with no time to read it. No information about the activities and their locations or that we could go to the food trucks at any time for a meal. Our bike had low battery and our villa charger wasn’t working, I asked on 6 seperate occasions for someone to charge the bike for us, we even took it down to reception and asked them to charge it while we were out they said yes and I felt like they understood however that didn’t happen so we had a flat bike for our final day. The only issue we had with the villa was the wear and tare from the shower as the floor is just polished wood not a water resistant material so the polish had worn off. The staff on the buggies, in the restaurant and by the pool were all so lovely and helpful. The staff at reception were hard to find and didn’t really want to help us. Their car service is incredibly overpriced and they don’t provide you with other options so educate yourself - AlUla Taxi is your best bet. There is a website they give you access to during your stay that has a chat section for any of your needs, my messages were ignored on this platform. Communicating with the hotel prior to our stay was near impossible, I had sent messages on WhatsApp after they instructed me to do so after some emails. My WhatsApp messages were ignored for a month to which they then sent me a link to leave a review after our stay. Really disappointing service from the team who do all communications as well as the reception team. Friends have asked if they should go, our response is go and see it as it is beautiful but don’t expect much from the team at reception.
