Discover the Hilton Amsterdam hotel, famous for John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1969 ‘bed-in for peace' and Hilton's first hotel in the Netherlands. This iconic hotel was famously built on the baseline of Plan Zuid, a district designed by prominent architect Berlage, which highlights the Amsterdam School of architecture and contains boutiques, designer shops and couture houses, in addition to being within walking distance of world-renowned Museum Square.

I love to travel, and am Diamond, so try to make Hilton a part of my trips whenever I can. This hotel was in an excellent location, and I was upgraded to a large junior suite. Executive club also has amazing views and simply awesome service from Bruna.

The hotel facility and rooms are very nice and the service was even better. As Hilton Diamond members we were upgraded to a junior suite, which we very much appreciated. The hotel is within walking distance of several good restaurants and about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the tram into downtown Amsterdam. The executive suite is located on the top floor with great views and a nice assortment of drinks and snacks. The breakfast is excellent - with a wide variety of choices including some free made to order choices. Overall this hotel is a very good value for the money and we enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I had such an amazing experience at the Hilton Amsterdam. The property is obviously beautiful but the attentive staff made our stay even better. Every single staff member was helpful and incredibly kind. Romina was especially thoughtful enough to offer us a better view when we were simply making adjustments to our accommodation. Thanks to Romina, we had the most magical New Year celebration. We had front row seats to all of the fireworks in Amsterdam from the comfort of the coziest room. The next best thing about the Hilton Amsterdam is the breakfast. It was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. The quality of the food and service was exceptional. The Hilton truly spoiled us and we are forever grateful. Cannot wait to return!

The Hilton Amsterdam is an outstanding property! We stayed here 5 days in between Christmas and New Year's Day. From the moment we checked in we knew it was going to be great. Lovely corner suite with PLENTY of room, a balcony, and a great view. We are big fans of the Executive Lounge and we have been spoiled by Alessandra every night so far. She has made our stay so much more enjoyable with her helpful approach, positive attitude, customer service. and wonderful personality! The lounge is a fantastic getaway if you have the opportunity to visit as a diamond member.

As someone who has visited Amsterdam many times, staying at the Amsterdam Hilton is truly a treat. From the moment you step inside, the exceptional staff ensures that every guest’s needs are met. From the front desk to housekeeping, the team is remarkably attentive and guest-centric, making every stay seamless and enjoyable. The rooms are a perfect blend of luxury and modern convenience, offering thoughtful amenities like outlets on both sides of the bed, a mini-bar, fast wireless internet, and coffee machines. The air-conditioning is top-notch, a rarity in European hotels. If you can, book a room with a balcony—these are fantastic for relaxing after a day of exploring. The spacious bathroom, complete with a large tub, was a personal favorite, where I could unwind and reflect on the sights I captured during the day. The gym is another highlight. It’s well-equipped with everything from free weights and treadmills to rowing machines and stationary bikes, plus a variety of weight machines. As a private gym for Hilton guests, it has convenient hours and a welcoming atmosphere, making it one of the best hotel fitness centers I’ve experienced. Dining at Roberto’s or enjoying drinks at the Half Moon Lounge is an absolute must. The superb service, combined with live music, creates a memorable and elegant experience. Both venues offer a perfect blend of fine dining and ambiance, adding to the overall charm of the stay. One unique aspect of the Amsterdam Hilton is its historical significance as the site of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s iconic "Bed-In for Peace" in 1969. This piece of cultural history adds a special charm to the hotel, allowing guests to stay in a place that has been part of a global movement for peace. Lastly, getting to the hotel is a breeze—Bus 397 leaves Amsterdam Airport every 15 minutes and conveniently drops you just two blocks away. The Amsterdam Hilton combines luxury, history, and exceptional service to offer what I believe is the most perfect hotel experience in the city. I’ll absolutely be staying here again!
