A really good hotel. Comfortable, clean and very well appointed rooms. Ask for a corner room on a higher floor for some very scenic views. Very well located, close to everything and excellent dining and shopping within the hotel and in walking distance.

Friendly staff, comfy rooms, great onsite restaurants and within walking distance to stores, attractions and restaurants. What’s not to like? Good value for money. The only thing that can make it better is if the bathroom inside the room was bigger and updated. Will definitely stay here if I come back to Anchorage.

In response to the Captain Crook review I have some helpful info. Same thing happened to us and the front desk was unhelpful. My husband contacted security through the website and told them the room number, the dates we were there and a detailed account of what was missing. (Kindle +++ items). Security called back about a month or so later and then the box full of the items showed up at our house. We paid a reasonable shipping to get them back. We will stay at this hotel every time we go to Anchorage.

Should rename it to Captain Crook. We stayed one night as part of a Princess cruise vacation. My wife accidentally left her Kindle in the room when we checked out. When we discovered this mishap later that day we called the hotel to check lost and found. Mysteriously it has never surfaced. The attitude of the hotel staff was “kinda sucks to be you”. Never make the mistake of staying here again!

This hotel is centrally located, near everything. It is huge. 3 towers each having 18 floors. Nicely made rooms. Little small bathrooms, but very clean. Nice restaurants and bar. We were on 16th floor and the ocean view was amazing. We stayed only one night. We could have stayed longer.
