Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club

The beach was pure soft sand, the vibe very chill, food was great but best of all was the kind people. And our favorite was Justin Time- always quick to smile, helpful in every way, and funny! Every person at this resort was super friendly, the grounds were immaculate and our oceanfront room had a great view to St. Marten.

We were thrilled with our experience at Aurora Anguilla this past week. It was wonderful being at the Merrywing where we got special attention from Tara, the concierge, Rovin, the bartender/waiter, and Brad, the taxi driver. We felt like the red carpet had been saved just for us with special recognition of our 35th wedding anniversary, too! Even though the winds made the waters too rough to do water activities, we were glad to have such comfortable temps to enjoy the beaches, pools and outdoor entertainment. Next time we’ll come for a longer stay!

I am writing this review in January of 2025 (while sitting in Anguilla) about my stay back in August of 2024. Having traveled extensively and stayed in many luxury hotels across the globe, I’ve learned that what truly sets a resort apart isn’t just its luxurious amenities or stunning location – it’s the service and people. And at Aurora Anguilla, the service and staff is nothing short of extraordinary. The resort is even more beautiful in person. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with warmth and professionalism. Naveen, the Director of Rooms, personally greeted me, showed me to my room, and gave me a tour of the resort. His attentiveness set the tone for what would be an unforgettable stay. The room was spotless and spacious with all the amenities one could need. The best in comfort! Ana from the Dominican Republic, part of the housekeeping team, worked tirelessly to keep my room immaculate and comfortable. Her hard work and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. Kevin, the Director, and Javed, with his ever-present kindness and smile, ensured that every interaction was pleasant and seamless. Ijeoma, the Guest Services Supervisor, stood out as one of the hardest-working individuals I’ve ever encountered. She was there morning and night, always ready to assist with kindness and efficiency. Thank you my extra postcards Ijeoma!! Derick, the Manager on Duty, made regular check-ins to ensure my stay was perfect. His thoughtfulness didn’t go unnoticed, and it truly made me feel cared for, especially since I was alone. Down by the beach, Merlyn was an absolute gem, offering the friendliest and most attentive service. A special shoutout to Justin, fondly known as “Justin Time,” whose infectious smile and cheerful demeanor made every trip around the resort a delight – especially the time he took me to the water park. He went above and beyond to make sure I had fun! If you are a family travelling to Aurora Anguilla, the water park is something you will definitely enjoy. The slides are fun (yes I did them by myself). The lazy river is relaxing and the site is so beautiful. The restaurants are amazing and there is something for everyone. Tokyo Bay is a MUST TRY!! Aurora Anguilla offers pristine beaches, luxurious accommodations, great food selection, night entertainment and breathtaking views, but it’s the incredible staff that makes it truly remarkable. It’s a reminder that no matter how luxurious a destination is – whether it’s the Maldives, Spain or Anguilla– it’s the service that leaves a lasting impression. I will definitely be back! If this is your first time in Anguilla, enjoy Aurora and its beach, but venture off to Shoal Bay or even Maunday's Bay. So as I sit here back in Anguilla, this is my message I'd like to relay to the entire team at Aurora Anguilla: thank you for making my stay unforgettable. Trust that you are all making a difference. I will make sure to come say hello this week.

Amazing staff and culture of service. Food on the resort was outstanding. Transportation was always provided. We don’t golf, but I’ve never seen a more beautiful golf course. Shoutout Just-in-time driver, always brought a really enjoyable spirit. Also shoutout Theresa on the beach. She was amazing in her service. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable honeymoon.

Just. In. Time. Ensured that we had a wonderful time. My birthday occurred while we were there, the staff made my stay extra special- balloons, confetti, champagne, and a birthday cake in our room. Gorgeous views, incredible staff. We will be back!
