Porta Hotel Antigua

We went to dinner in town, and someone accidentally spilled hot sauce all down the back of my favorite white dress. The AMAZING housekeeping and laundry team members at the Porta Hotel took the dress and removed the stain that very night and had it ready first thing the next morning before check out. Absolutely incredible!!! They go above and beyond.

Called in for a quick lunch having stayed a number of times previously. Great food quality as always and fantastic friendly and helpful service from Samuel, in relaxing peaceful setting. Highly recommend a visit if you are ever in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. For two nights, as a couple. We had a queen room across the street from the main entrance. Our room was just right- enough space, nice bathroom, a/c unit, enough plug ins, great WiFi. Comfortable and clean. Great staff. Stored our luggage as we were early for check in. They have filtered water tank in the rooms. Was close to walk everywhere. We used A La Carta tours, the company that the hotel uses and has a desk there, for our private transport to the airport and was great. We booked on hotels.com and was problem free and had a complementary drink included (was able to make non-alcoholic option too- appreciated!)

My family and I stayed at this hotel during October, the grounds are beautiful and the staff is really helpful. The front desk helped us find some delicious food and answered every question we had. The hotel is also nearby all the attractions and restaurants. The room is beautiful and has everything you need. I would like to thank every one here at the hotel. The experience was like no other.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Porta Hotel in Antigua. A beautiful facility that's within easy walking distance of the shops and eateries. The staff was great, friendly and welcoming at all levels. We also took their Lake Atitlan tour which was awesome as well. Our guide Adrian was super knowledgeable and friendly.
