Porta Hotel Antigua

Expansive menu including local and international food options. I ordered the gin cocktail which was on point. Food was flavorful. Service was very good. Gladys was great and made us feel at home. Pleasant decor and enjoyed the openness of the space.

We stayed a weekend at Casa Chula. The house is in the best location possible, it is beautifully decorated, linens and towels are the same as in the hotel. We were greeted upon arrival and everything was clean and ready. Our group was 7 adults there for a wedding. Each room has a full bathroom so we were able to get ready with no hassles. The full kitchen allowed us to have late night snacks and coffee in the morning. We went over to Porta for Sunday breakfast buffet and Ceiba Spa- all amazing as usual!

Review is strictly as a visitor, not as an actual guest! We’re family of the wedding couple staying there. The hotel is beautiful, had great ambience, friendly staff, and live marimba music which was fun to listen to. The pool was very nicely heated and the kids enjoyed it thoroughly. There’s also a small playground close by. We saw inside one room on the “premier” side and it’s actually quite small so make sure to pay close attention to the square footage when you book. The family of 4 staying there looked cramped. Overall, great experience.

The Porta Hotel is very nice. Our second floor room was comfortable and the balcony was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was delicious! I was able to order eggs cooked like I prefer. The staff was very nice and helpful! We would have loved to stay longer!

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The staff is very friendly and welcoming; the rooms are cozy! Two macaws live on the premises, so it was so fun to walk outside of our room and see them every day. Amazing experience and we will certainly come back to the Porta Hotel!
