The final stop in our Arnhem Land trip was Seven Spirit Bay Wilderness Lodge which is obviously the jewel in Outback Spirit's crown. Cabins are five star with even twin hand basins in the bathroom and views of the bay from your bed. Dinner and drinks are on the deck, again with great views. Wifi is only available around the restaurant but that was ok. No TV was a little harder to take. Staff were excellent as was the food. About half of our group caught fish but what we caught was excellent with the biggest 1.3 metres. An excellent place to end our Arnhem Land tour.

Excellent lodge with lovely, incredibly helpful staff. Delicious food and amazing location. It would be great to have more connections with local Indigenous groups for information about the area especially as there is a ranger station not too far away at Black Point.

We spent 4 nights at SSB.Excellent location in a true wilderness environment.Accomodation was excellent plus the meals were first rate. The offered excursions were interesting but lacked cultural authencity given no First Nation peoples were involved. Some suggestions: -involve First Nations people as guides; -offer excursions with a greater cultural component eg bushcraft in practice; -offer bird watching around the Resort ie focus on Rainbow Pita,Great Bower Bird, different Lorrikeets, birds of prey Having said that the fishing was first rate. Staff were excellent including Sam,Jessica and Syd.

We enjoyed three wonderful days at Seven Spirit Bay. The resort is located on a beautiful bay with well manicured, lush gardens and a magnificent view across turquoise waters. The restaurant, lounge and pool areas are very classy and the rooms are simply superb - large, comfortable, very well and tastefully furnished, with a luxurious bathroom and a delightful deck overlooking the water. The food was as good as you would get in a very good restaurant in the big smoke and there was more than enough with large servings. All the staff were exceptional and they made our stay very memorable.

Brilliant in every way! This is an amazing and stunning place to stay. Leith manages this place like clockwork! All the staff are exceptional especially Erin, and the guides Sam, Jason and Syd. The accommodation is luxurious, clean and has air con! The food is 5 star and plentiful….you will put on weight! The grounds are well maintained and the sunsets off the deck are beautiful, especially when the wait staff bring you more drinks and your canapés! The pool is lovely as are the sitting areas. The tours are a good mix of fishing, walking, history and nature. All up the whole tour we were on run by Outback Spirit was perfect.

From the minute we arrived until we left 4 days later, we were constantly impressed and delighted with Seven Spirit Bay. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The chef was amazing, considering the lodge's isolated location. The nature walks and 4WD excursions were informative and fun. Having our own habitat and separate "open to the sky" bathroom was a new and pleasant experience. Every day we exclaimed, "This is the best vacation we've ever taken!" There couldn't have been a better way to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.

Our best adventure was on Australia's Cobourg Peninsula. We were looking for adventure and we found it at The Seven Spirt Bay Resort, a splendid combination of wilderness and civilization. The trip was perfection.
