Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Aruba

As many others have stated, this is our second time. Most remarkable is that every member of their staff is always helpful, friendly and smiling. Over the top polite and friendly. This past week the waves were a bit big/rough, but fun body surfing. The beach lounges were reserved for guests daily and very comfortable. Yes, as many say- the included breakfast was excellent. We will return.

This is our second time at Bucuti and Tara. The staff is friendly, attentive to our needs and always a smile and happy. The resort is cleaned daily and they are willing to provide you with anything you need. The front staff greets you at the arrival door and takes care of any excursions or dinner reservations you may need. Each room has a tablet where you can reserve your beach palapas on a daily basis. The water is warm and the pool is so relaxing. There is a hot tub at the pool as well. Beach towels provided and usually are at your selected palapa when you arrive. The food is wonderful and the staff will come to your beach location many times to ask if you would like anything. The free continental breakfast is out of this world with selections and they are eager to please. You can not go wrong at this resort. The taxi cost us $10 for 4 of us to go venture into downtown where you can shop and there are vendors selling from huts.

Time for an updated review. Surprise, Bucuti and Tara is still the best! My wife and I just got back from a week in a Tara Suite this Jan 2025- our fifth year at Bucuti and Tara. Bucuti and Tara feels like the resort a celebrity would go to. Beautiful rooms. Top notch service. Everything is optimized to perfection. While goers at other resorts are fighting over palapas on the beach, Bucuti and Tara has a tucked in system where you reserve your umbrella and chairs on the app, on the ipad, from your room, any time after 5pm the preceding night. It doesn't get better than that. No running out at 6am to deposit towels and belongings all over your desired space. Just log in, pick the spot on the map, and boom, you are all set. Staff set up the towels the morning of and you are good to go. Breakfast is my favorite part of Bucuti. Head to the Elements deck between 7 and 10am and get your seat out under the umbrellas, the trellis, or in the sun. The staff is incredible and they will remember you every year. Special shout outs to my main man Juan; also Rambo and Reginald. These guys are the best. Always greeting you with a smile, entertaining you with chatter with Paco the parrot, and otherwise keeping things light. They will remember your order, bring your cappuccino and enter any special breakfast orders such as eggs Benedict or dutch pancake. I look forward to seeing these guys all year! In fact, one year Juan bought us a cute shirt for our yet to be born Son! An important point about Bucuti, they reportedly run occupancy rates of 97% year round and the facilities, staff, and beach are designed for that utilization! It never feels crowded, overrun, or otherwise overcapacity. Bucuti and Tara is an exclusive, incredible, well managed, relaxing oasis. Ewald has really created something special. Beware, once you go once, YOU WILL BE HOOKED!

This is the pearl of Aruba. It's a small, very laid back, all adult, boutique hotel with first class service and amenities. You're greeted at check-in with a cold towel and champaign. The beach is beautiful, the breakfasts on the beach are a morning highlight, afternoon complimentary smoothies delivered on the beach, and all-day beach chair side service (food, drinks, smoothies - brought to you on the beach.) Afternoon drinks at the beach side Sandbar is a nice way to spend the late afternoon. Then, watch the sunsets, which are always spectacular, before heading out to dinner! This is our 8th year in a row at the Bucuti, and we're already booked for year 9! This is a 12/10 experience.

The Bucuti is exactly what it states it is!! It is a relaxing, pampered vacation. It is not a party atmosphere. It is quiet and sophisticated. The staff go above and beyond to be friendly. We love every morning to be greeted at breakfast from Juan, Rambo, and Nakarid! They make us feel like we are eating breakfast at our second home! They accommodated every request! On our way to the beach, we would be stopped by Beverly's lovey "Good Morning, enjoy your day!" Our room accommodations are beyond perfect! The turn down service with tea was so enjoyable to come back to after our dinner plans. Eagle Beach is by far the best beach! The pristine sand and beautiful turquoise water is amazing! We highly recommend the Bucuti. ( we have been going for years)
