Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens

We just came back my daughter (9yo) and I from a week at the Four Seasons Astir. Its been truly exceptional, in line with what you would expect from Four Seasons. Special thanks to Julie the concierge and Nikola the tennis coach for the small attentions that made our stay even better, The +++ - The location (we stayed in a bungalow with a pool), surrounded by the sea, splendid scenery, the bungalows are a bit on the side nested in the woods - The layout of the resort, seems huge without feeling 'mass market', the properties and pools are far enough from each other that it always feel special -The pools, fantastic for kids and parents - The Tennis x basketball x mini football complex, staff always welcoming, superb tennis courts - The concierge team, friendly and efficient, always with a smile The ++ - The room: not very large but functional, nice bathroom, and a pleasure to have the outdoor shower facing the sea - The food: great variety of restaurants to choose from, excellent breakfast selection - The buggy team - The proximity to the marina, an interesting visit - The staff overall The - - The prices of any watersport activity. Completely overpriced, which is a shame because as a result you barely see anyone using the various toys & boats available. The equipment sits there idle. We will definitely come back, we loved our stay,

Years ago you will find a review from me where I write that this is the best hotel I've ever been to. It has only gotten better. The only thing that is more beautiful than this hotel, its location, its gardens, its rooms, is the kindness, professionalism and grace of the staff who work there. After coming to the hotel back in pre-Covid times I always knew that I wanted to come back for an important life event - a wedding say or a birthday. When that opportunity came up this year, after considering many locations, I chose the Four Seasons Astir Palace and I could not be happier, or more content with my choice. The most important thing in choosing a venue for me was that my guests, friends and family would love the experience, and would remember it forever - much as I have always remembered this very very special place. In planning my event I have to say I was hard work. I had really high expectations. I was incredibly detail orientated. But I have to say that the team exceeded my impossibly high expectations delivering the most incredible life changing event possible. I mean it. I give very deep thanks to Adam who led the project for my event. Adam thank you for such hard work and for caring so much. Thank you for putting up with me. Adam leads a team which puts on events for hundreds, thousands of people, but executed the planning for my series of (small!) gatherings with the utmost attention to detail and perfection. I will always be grateful for what you did for me and my friends, Adam. On the ground my weekend was organised by the incredible Antonis and his colleague Claudia. Antonis everyone loved working with you and you were always there with not just the most kind approach, but you made everything happen so magically and perfectly. You cared so much. I hope one day I can thank you for how much energy, dedication, and perfection you brought to the weekend. A very special mention must go to Marita who is the head concierge. There is a reason why the Four Seasons Astir Palace is named the best hotel in Greece - and awarded as such. I think its because of you. The hotel manager, Mr Regad, manages the equivalent of a small country. ;) However even given how small my particular events were he took extraordinary efforts to ensure me, and each and every one of my guests, felt honored and priveleged to be at his property. He is a true gentlemen in every epitome of the word. This place is incredibly special. It’s very very beautiful and the staff are the most magical part. You will not find better in the entire world. You won't. I do hope that life finds me a way to thank the incredible people who work at this enclave of peace, tranquility and joy in our crazy world. Just go. Always grateful, Michael

What a fantastic stay ! A very warm welcome led by Mikael. Personalized service. My wife and I came here 6 years ago at the first days of the opening. After all this time the facility and the staff stayed at their top notch level now. Housekeeping, Spa, room service, concierge and the kids club were all attentive and went the extra mile to make our stay once more unforgettable. It’s truly all in the details!

From the moment we arrived, the hotel exceeded every expectation. The attention to detail, the genuine warmth of the staff, and the unparalleled level of service made this stay truly unforgettable. The reception team greeted us with such sincere hospitality that I felt immediately at home. Check-in was seamless, and they even remembered small personal preferences pure class! Eugenios and Andreas were highly attentive and went above and beyond . Attentive & Smiley Staff. Every team member, from housekeeping to the concierge, was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Most Thoughtful Concierge , the team was next-level amazing. Whether securing last-minute reservations or offering insider local tips, they handled every request with precision and care. Christina at Avra bar was outstanding always extra attentive , smiley and professional. This wasn’t just a stay it was an experience. The Astir Palace has set a new standard for luxury hospitality, and I cannot wait to return. If you’re looking for perfection in service, warmth, and elegance, this is the place. If you want a picturesque seaside escape with unbeatable convenience, this is the place!

My husband last visited this hotel 50 years ago. It’s been rebuilt since then & is now even better. Situated Athens Riviera area Everything from start to finish was excellent hotel welcome, knowledgeable friendly staff at every job, friendly pleasant. They all contributed to a stress free & relaxing holiday. Room was very comfortable & well appointed with outside private balcony ideal for in room dining, walk in shower, separate massive bath, dual his & hers sinks, fluffy towels robes & pleasant smelling handwashing & soap, We used the spa, had a fabulous massage, used the rainforest showers, the jacuzzi with its many different water jets, the spa pool big enough to swim in & with its own jacuzzi jets you can press the silver buttons to turn on. The changing room has big lockers with indoor pool sliders if u don’t hv yr own indoor ones. Towels, robe & changing room showers, hair dryer, costume spinner, toilets. You can get to the spa from Nafsika by walking along the path by the sea towards the other hotel building. Once past the water sports cabin you will find a lift to take you up the cliff. There are steps but too many for us so lift was ideal. Sitting by the pool & snacks from the bar was very relaxing. There are a number of restaurants on site to choose from. Breakfast selection was vast however on our first morning we thought it was only the eggs menu on the hard board available. The main breakfast help yourself buffet is to the right after you enter Mercato. Took me to last morning to realise there was also a toaster, it isn’t right next to the bread. Majority of staff offer faultless customer service. Hotel made many arrangements on our behalf including taxis everywhere & entrance to Lake Vouliagmeni with towel hire. Was very convenient to have taxi drivers paid on our hotel bill & know exactly where they were going. We took a normal taxi back one day from Monas Tiraki sq & the taxi driver was anxious about where our destination was. I would recommend asking the hotel to make your arrangements. There is an in room iPad you can use to order room service & you can also use WhatsApp to ask the hotel for help. One of our journeys was so close the hotel took us there & back in the hotel vehicle. Excellent service. We were able to leave our luggage safely on our last day after checking out & spent time at Lake Vouliagmeni before heading to the airport. Would recommend 💯 % & would love to go again.
