Loews Atlanta Hotel

Went for a one-night staycation to celebrate an anniversary and do something fun in our own city. We decided to valet since we’re not familiar with parking in the area (price of valet was never mentioned). Room was ok, comfortable bed but nothing special. The AC stopped working in the middle of the night and room got to 75°. When we left the next morning, we were charged $55 for valet. For one night! We had heard great things about this hotel but it fell way short of expectations for the price point. Would recommend the Kimpton in midtown instead for a better stay.

Great business hotel for a three day offsite meeting. The hotel rooms were clean and well appointed. The conference space was perfect for the meeting. The the food and service during the meeting was excellent. I will be back there again in the near future.

Absolutely cannot suggest staying here. We found things underneath the left side of the bed from a prior occupant. Also, the mini bar looked like the food was rummage through and it wasn’t replaced. It was half open. And the water was freezing cold for the shower. When we went to the front desk to let them know about everything. They said sorry. Wish you would’ve let me know but since we’re on a timeline for that day. We left, but when we were going through the revolving door, we heard the front desk staff giggling. I don’t know about what, but it was unprofessional.

Stayed at this establishment for 3 nights over Christmas, Hotel is in superb nick. It’s close to the Marta and public transport system. It’s on Peachtree, close to a whole host of restaurants and bars. Short walk to Piedmont park and teh botanical gardens. For all other attractions we used teh public transport. The room size was great for a family of 4 with 5 bags. The bathroom was big enough not to feel claustrophobic. The hotel has a nice mini-market, bar and restaurant.

We didn’t like the hotel. On the positive side, the bed was comfy, and we had a good night’s sleep. However, the bathroom wasn’t clean, water pressure was terrible, the room walls were stained, and the gym wasn’t working. Every time we ordered food from the restaurant, it was cold. While the restaurant staff were nice, the hotel staff were completely unhelpful. We wouldn’t stay here again.
