The best robes in the hotel business, I wish they had some for sale. Great location, great room, great history. The room and architecture There is river trail walk or run which is so close to the hotel and is amazing. The capital building which is so full of Texas history is right up the street.

The Driskill is amazing from the moment you walk up to the front door. The architecture is extremely unique and you feel like you are in an art gallery and a museum. Our room has a refrigerator & coffee maker which makes it nice if you are staying for a few days. No microwave in room, but they will bring one up if requested. The hotel staff were all extremely accommodating and friendly. The ghostly all appeared to be friendly too!

Gorgeous and cozy room. Loved the high ceilings of the room I chose. And the decor of the room was so beautiful - cool trunk/luggage look bedside tables, beautiful wallpaper behind the bed. Great furniture. Historic charm with modern amenities. Super soft sheets. Stunning lobby.

This hotel delivered over and beyond our expectations in many ways. Amazing facilities - our room and amenities were first class with the most comfortable bed. Hotel is a top Austin attraction with a great bar, 1886 cafe for the most delicious breakfast; hotel employees were very friendly and attentive with a can do attitude that made our stay very enjoyable. This hotel is also in a great location with easy access to downtown shopping and events and on the action-packed 6th Street or a short walk to the beautiful serenity of Lady Bird Lake. We would highly recommend this hotel for special occasions and leisure stays.

Beautiful historic hotel. Very nice, large bar area with great cocktails. Breakfast and lunch restaurant with good menu options and coffee. Rollaway bed and pull out sofa bed were terribly uncomfortable and therefore unusable. Needs a WOH lounge.
