We had a great corner room overlooking the east and south view of Austin. Since this was a business trip it was my opportunity to see the city since days were filled with sessions. Front desk, service for room help and food service during conference was fast, efficient and very helpful. The air conditioner fan was a loud through the night and I would have preferred an open outlet near the desk for my computer instead of the open ones by the bed. Loved the pillows and bed for sleeping.

We traveled to Austin for a family wedding. It was our first visit to the city. The Fairmont was the perfect choice for a place to stay. Centrally located, the Fairmont was easy walking to all the fun neighborhoods in the city. But best of all was the staff and amenities. Every single staff member, from check-in to concierge to valet to spa team were welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible. I recommend a spa visit--well worth the money for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience (it wasn't cheap, but was worth it). And the beds were so comfortable! I will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Fabulous! The team (thanks William)-went above and beyond to make sure my friend’s birthday was special. The spa was so nice and had a great pedicure, beds were super comfy, everything…loved our stay! Location was excellent-we walked to shops, restaurants etc… the live music in lobby such a nice bonus! Paid for Gold member upgrade because I like the breakfast area. Had someone drop off a “gift” to my room. Had beers and nuts. I leave the room for an hour and come back and the gift was removed. Can you not enter my locked room and take stuff ? Why give gift and take away after upgrading room for extra $200 a night ? Just weird.

I enjoyed my 4 day stay during a conference that was also at the hotel. The conference was run very smoothly and all 1000 guests needs were met by a staff that was friendly, personable and professional at every level.
