About the Hotel
Hotel Magdalena is a hotel project from Austin’s acclaimed Bunkhouse in collaboration with renowned architecture firm Lake | Flato, located on Music Lane in the popular South Congress neighborhood of Austin. At 89 rooms, it is Bunkhouse’s largest hotel to date, and features four new, but distinct, buildings connected by exposed elevated walkways and courtyards, creating a treehouse feel inside the grounds. The property sits at varying elevations, an homage to the slopes of Barton Springs, and the lush grounds are planted with native Texas species including Bigtooth Maples, Redbuds, Meyer Lemon Trees, Yaupon Holly, and Little Gem Magnolia.

Perfect place to stay on Congress Street
This is a fabulous hotel in an awesome location. Unique, friendly staff, great pool. Feels very Austin! It has a great restaurant and it is near other great restaurants, great shopping and great live music venues. Next to The Continental Club and C'boys! Dangerously close to Amy's Ice Cream as well;)

Never want to leave this paradise in Austin
I love this hotel! Amazing rooms, staff, pool, views & it smells amazing everywhere. Had great meals at Summer House and drinks at the cocktail listening room below, EQ. They do offer parking but this hotel is so conveniently located & an uber to most places was very affordable. Thank you Baker, Megan, Daryl, and Trent! I can’t wait to come back soon

Phenomenal hotel. The architecture of these buildings is so unique. Walkable location on South Congress in the middle of Boston. Great pool and restaurant set up. Staff was amazingly, friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and well taken care of. Definitely would stay there again.

Magd-nificent!
Cool easy-going place that has classic appeal! Being the age I am, I loved the 1970's decor in the room in which I stayed. I'm not sure if all the other rooms had this same motif but I thoroughly enjoyed my room's appeal.

The location was great. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were awesome. I didn't have enough light source in my room, the mini fridge was not stocked with the items listed for purchase and I prefer a top sheet on my bed.
