Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa

We had 3 rooms, spending over $1500 per night on room and tax only. Service was a HUGE miss. The first night we ate at Crenshaw's and the server was clearly not thrilled we were dining with her. The food was good, but the service was slow and unfriendly. The next morning we ate breakfast and again dealt with very slow service and it was hard to communicate with our server. She was kind, but either the restaurant was understaffed or she just didn't pay our table much attention. That afternoon we spent the afternoon at the pool and service was VERY lacking. It was disappointing there was no outside bar or nearby restaurant to order snacks from. We had to walk to Crenshaws for the first hour we were at the pool. Eventually a kind server waited on us, but the ticket time for our food seemed very long. Overall, for the prices we paid, we felt the value was way off the mark. We don't stay with Omni properties often as we are Marriott Ambassadors as well as Hilton Diamond members, but if this was a representation of the Omni brand, we won't be back.

The hotel did an outstanding job of making sure our 10 year anniversary was memorable. From the front desk staff, concierge, room attendants to restaurant experience we felt like royalty. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. We will return as this is now our special place.

Our Thinkcation group was treated with a very high level of professionalism by all staff members we interacted with. The food was delicious and portions were generous. The overall property is beautiful, modern and clean. Omni holds up it's high standards of quality in all areas. This supported our Thinkcation mission of refocusing, decluttering, dreaming and planning.

I could not be more overjoyed to write this review. The Omni staff helped me plan my proposal at the resort. They went above and beyond to ensure I had the greatest proposal experience. Particularly, Jasmine and Rebecca were so incredibly helpful in planning and keeping the special day a secret. Their staff was so friendly and encouraging (they had in the notes that I was proposing). After the special moment, they had champagne ready to go for us and the whole staff was cheering. I'm amazed at the experience and will be overjoyed to go back to Omni for life. 100000/10 experience.

We had a girls trip over New Years to celebrate a birthday. Omni Barton Creek went above and beyond to make it an exceptional experience for all of us. Shelby at check-in was absolutely wonderful. She took excellent care of us and was genuinely friendly and caring. Dylan at breakfast at Tiger Spice provided excellent service and a great sense of humor. Allan and Andrew in the lobby bar-Jim Bob's bar helped us celebrate a birthday and really made the experience unforgettable! They were so attentive, fun, and provided outstanding customer service. We were absolutely impressed with every person we met at Omni Barton Creek. It is so evident that there is a high-priority placed on customer service. I don't know who serviced our room, but the birthday cake waiting for us when we checked in was so thoughtful, and our mid-stay service was perfect. We had a wonderful experience at every single dining establishment we visited at the resort. We are still talking about the Wagyu beef burger at Crawford's! The Tiger Spice breakfast was delicious. We visited the Canyon Creek bar and grill offsite and they treated us like royalty, helping us celebrate a birthday beyond our expectations. And the cajun mac and cheese was exceptional. Our visit to Jim Bob's Bar was a highlight of the trip. Allan and Andrew made excellent drinks and helped to create an unforgettable experience. The coffee shop near the lobby was fantastic. I love a good latte and the coffee they provide there was excellent. Thank you for having that so accessible. The Select Guest drink coupon was a true highlight for us. We were given a few extras to help celebrate our birthday and it helped to create more of that all-inclusive or luxury resort feel. We felt we never really needed to leave the resort because there were so many wonderful options. If you do go to celebrate a birthday, be sure to wear a birthday sash and/or mention it to the staff. =) We were amazed by the generosity provided to make our experiences extra special.
