W Austin

The hotel staff and the housekeeping was probably the best I have ever experienced in my life of travels. To begin, the housekeeping went above and beyond and their attention to detail was flawless. My room was perfectly cleaned and made up everyday. The hotel is perfect inside and out!

Staff were brilliant throughout - especially the team at check-in desk. The facilities are exceptionally and always clean and tidy, and the room was very well designed. My room had very comfortable bedding and was always well cleaned and maintained

On one of the coldest days of the year, they decided to displace a large group of native bats from a utility closet. All they had to do was wait until it warmed up- the next day- so they would be safe. Austin likes to call itself Bat City... maybe the people that run the W are unaware of how important these animals are to our ecosystem here. If not, maybe they should not do business here.

Central hotel to many downtown restaurants and bars. Our stay was amazing. Great customer service. Delicious food and tasty cocktails at the Blue Room! Employees were so thoughtful and welcoming and hotel is beautiful exactly what you would expect from a W hotel.

I spent my birthday weekend here for two nights and selected this hotel due to the location. This hotel was very nice and decor was very thought out and beautiful. Location is also perfect and a lot places were in walking distance. However the reasoning for the 2 star review was the room provided we couldn’t connect any of our devices to the internet. Our plan was us to relax and work the last day there at the hotel before checking out. We ended up having to check out earlier than planned due to this issue. The staff did tried to help us connect but said they would not give us another room. We were frustrated that they were blaming our devices since no other guest was complaining. We were able to connect in other areas of the hotel just fine but not in our rooms. This ruined the experience for us as we had to leave early and take time off of our work day to commute back home. We spent a lot of time just trying to trouble shoot the internet and waste several hours of trip and never got it resolved. The failure of service to accommodate us in another room is unfortunately the reason we will not be choosing this hotel again when we come back to Austin.
