Rooms are a good size. Service is good/hotel seems to be well maintained BUT It is very very annoying that the only pool the kids can go in is unheated. The adult pool is a lovely temperature but having a cold pool for the kids is highly unsatisfactory (and very un-American in my experience!). On the whole if having to consider other 5* (priced!) hotels which have heated pools for all guests or this one, this one will lose. Location to Aventura mall is nice. Dining options so/so

Unbeknownst to us, there was a religious retreat that had taken over the entire resort. They had subcontracted to a company to take over the resort for the families on the religious retreat and we felt like we were not supposed to be there intruding on their experience. We looked at their website and they advertised "Taking over the entire resort!" For example, all of the prime seats at the adult pool were held all day for people while they were in prayer groups and meetings. So, the pool was empty most of the day but the lounge chairs could not be used. When they came out of sessions they had head covers and formal clothes poolside while we were in bathing suits. The mini fridges were taped up with a sign that said we could call for a free mini-fridge to be brought in. There was actual scotch tape on the refrigerators in our 2 rooms. When I called, I was told that all of the fridges were in use because the hotel was full. It was clear that other guests were the priority every step of the way. We had 2 suites and one of them (not by request) was handicapped so there was a dirty shower curtain instead of a shower door. There was underwear from prior guests behind the couch and one room had bottles of water and the other did not. There were bouncy houses and food and ice cream trucks that looked like fun- but only families on the retreat could access. There was always someone who did not understand English riding the elevators and preventing you from pushing the buttons on your own (subcontractors from this retreat company). The elevators were small and it became cramped when the workers decided to put a chair in the elevators so they wouldn't have to stand while riding the elevator all day. With only 2 elevators, the reduced capacity and constant confusion about the buttons made them take longer. There were families with young children playing/ yelling loudly in the hallways of the hotel when we wanted to have peace and quiet in our room. It was an expensive mistake to stay at hotel where you feel like and outsider crashing a religious retreat when you just want a relaxing spring break with your family. No part of the trip felt upscale or relaxing. We were told if we were not satisfied then we should leave. So, we cut our stay there short and took an uber to a different hotel.

I am currently staying here and it’s chaos. There is a large event happening and the resort is not equipped to handle it. The water park is slammed, they removed the surf house menu and replaced it with the tidal cove menu, people are smoking and vaping and the bathrooms are a mess. People are yelling at other peoples kids when their own kids are misbehaving. A woman is screaming at the lifeguards because her kid isn’t tall enough to ride and is losing her mind. Everyone had to wait 20 minutes for her tantrum and the resort gave in while her three daughters watched. It’s shameful and she should be removed by security - people have become so entitled. At night the kids from the event run the hallways and the parents do nothing. I’ve stayed here before will NOT be back. I paid a lot to be here and it’s a nightmare vacation. Two stars for the surf simulator and life guards there. Zero to one for everything else.

We moved to the hotel to meet with friends. We had been staying at the aloft Ventura that was really nice. It's considered a three star hotel so thought here would be nice. We drove up to the driveway and there were cars and people everywhere. We got out and were told room wasn't ready and they would text when ready. When we eventually checked in we were given a lovely room and a comfy bed. This resort fee business of 65 dollars a day .. ok if you have kids you can use the water park but if your unable to do that you get nothing for your money. We were not told anything about the hotel other than given a map. We had the first night dinner at corsair restaurant where they had a fixed steak dinner three course meal for 58 dollars. Thatvmeap was quite nice. Sunday breakfast was chaos. Now the hotel is large but the dining area is small. The check in process for breaky you have the lady who checks in and then a colleague would take you to the table. The line was out the door and they only had one poor woman seating people. There were plenty of tables once seated. ... This experience we had it every day. Sunday there was a thunderstorm and unable to do anything. Still charged the daily resort fee. Friends staying with us managed to get there resort fee refunded however we were told no so we will be following it up further. When checking out we had minibar charges that we didn't use as we didn't even open the fridge door. When hubby went down to fix the bill and clarify it the girl at check-in who was chewing gum shrugged her shoulders and said ok and deleted the charges. If you do stay at the hotel make sure you ask for a room away from the lift as the clunk clunk goes all night and you can hear it quite a distance from the lift. I'm very much a glass half full person but unfortunately I can't say much positive about our stay here which is very disappointing.

I just returned from one of the most wonderful hotels I've stayed in. I bid on and won an auction on Luxury Link to Turnberry Isle Miami, which included five days of golf. IT WAS WONDERFUL! And so luxurious!

We booked Turnberry Isle Miami through Luxury Link and stayed for 9 days on a spectacular golf package. The hotel was fantastic! Beautiful upgraded balcony room overlooking the golf course. Great buffet breakfast. Fantastic golf on two excellent courses. Our golf package included the mandatory caddy fees, which added to the incredible value. I could not speak more highly for this hotel, and Luxury Link.
