Luxury resort with two golf courses and a water park in North Miami. Two miles from the beach. Spacious rooms, nicely decorated, large balcony. Bathroom had some issues. Somehow dim lighting, low water pressure in the shower. Bathroom door and toilet door collide. Have two restaurants, Corsair Kitchen & Bar. Very busy and cramped in the morning. But food is good. Bourbon Steak was a bit disappointing, average steaks for above-average prices. Interesting are their two golf courses. One, the Miller is an easy course. The Soffer course, however, is quite challenging. Greenfees are very steep. $375 ++ each course. It is Miami after all. Good fitness center, well equipped. Very disappointing was the checkout. We called the bellman. Nobody picked up the phone. At the reception only one counter staffed. Customers had to loudly complain until a second person showed up. On top of that was that the invoice had a couple of mistakes. That was bad service.

I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa and had a wonderful experience. The property is stunning, with beautiful grounds and top-notch amenities. My room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout my stay. I really enjoyed the spa and the golf course—both were perfect for unwinding. Whether you're looking to relax or stay active, this resort has it all. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!

We had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Turnberry hotel this weekend. The staff were super helpful, the pool was not too crowded (even though it was a holiday weekend) and we loved our room. We ate at Cosair and had drinks Soffs -both excellent - and my daughter and I enjoyed a fitness class as well. I would definitely come back. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday!!

I'll start with the positives. The JW Marriott Turnberry is a very nice place. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are up to date, large and clean, and the scenery is great. It's location to the FLL airport is extremely convenient. The food, albeit expensive (like you would expect), meets the standards of a high end resort. The water park is really great for a resort. My three kids ages 2.5, 7 and 9 were very entertained by it. People pay to use it who aren't even resort guests so I guess that tells you something. We didn't play golf but the course looked to be in decent shape and there's 36 holes to keep it interesting. It's a resort course but they have full time members. The people working around the hotel; the valets, the waiters, housekeeping and room service were extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the hotel is a 4 star hotel, not a 5 star albeit also not a 3 star either. I had some definite complaints that keep this place from being a really, really great high end hotel resort. First, the front of house staff are not particularly welcoming and warm. My family is titanium elite bonvoy members (not that it should matter) and they didn't even greet us with a smile. Perks like free breakfast for 2 wasn't mentioned to us. Typical check in is by 4pm but our room wasn't even ready until after 5p upon our arrival. The water park has a few things that weren't great either. First, the kids cove has 4 water slides, 2 of which you need to be 40" tall to ride. Why? You build a massive kids cove for all ages and then you basically don't allow anyone 6 yrs and under to use half the facility. My 2.5 year was very upset she couldn't use those slides while watching all the "older" kids using it. To make it more confusing the height limit for half the rides on the main slides is 42". Odd choice to have the 40" height limit when the main slides are available to all those older kids. The lazy river was broken for 3 out of the 4 days we were there and the 1 day it was open it was freezing. Nobody using it. They have one hot tub for the entire place which is jam packed and it too was broken for one of the days we were there. On our last day the weather was chilly but my family wanted to swim. Unfortunately the normally warm pool was freezing and so they swam for 5 minutes before deciding it was too cold. Again not hot tub. Just a lot of disappointing outcomes for a place that charges a lot to be there. So overall, the place checks a lot of boxes for a big conference resort for business travellers and families but it definitely falls short if you're expecting a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons level of service and facilities. I guess that's why it's four stars.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry for a weekend, and it was a relaxing experience from start to finish. The resort's ambiance was very inviting – from the luxurious grounds to the family-friendly water parks and well-maintained golf course. A huge thanks to the professional hotel staff, from the valet attendants to the front desk associates, who were all genuine and warm and made our stay perfect. The attention to detail and dedication to providing a 10/10 service truly enhanced our impression of this hotel. The Bonvoy elite status recognition at this hotel was excellent. We were upgraded to a spacious, comfortable one-bedroom suite. The suite featured a great sitting area, a lovely separate shower and bathtub, and a high-end marble tile design on par with some of New York's ritziest hotel suite bathrooms. Overall, we had a relaxed and great experience at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry, and we highly recommend this hotel.

I just returned from one of the most wonderful hotels I've stayed in. I bid on and won an auction on Luxury Link to Turnberry Isle Miami, which included five days of golf. IT WAS WONDERFUL! And so luxurious!

We booked Turnberry Isle Miami through Luxury Link and stayed for 9 days on a spectacular golf package. The hotel was fantastic! Beautiful upgraded balcony room overlooking the golf course. Great buffet breakfast. Fantastic golf on two excellent courses. Our golf package included the mandatory caddy fees, which added to the incredible value. I could not speak more highly for this hotel, and Luxury Link.
