Poor ski valet

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The ski valet is extremely chaotic. They take hours to find your equipment so the valet is extreme crowded. They can even return your rental by mistake. So if you want a smooth ski experience you might want to think twice about this hotel. Its ski valet is by far the worse in similar hotels

Bachelor Gulch Ritz Carlton is not what it used to be

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We have been going to the Ritz Bachelor Gulch for the last 10 years and recently realized that it was no longer a family friendly resort. Our daughters are now 17 and avid skiers so we are able to stay at the nearby Westin (another marriott property) which we find to be more suitable for families. It has become very evident by the techno music that is blaring when you ski back to hotel that the Ritz is promoting a more club like atmosphere. If you are looking for that you are in luck. If you prefer the days of the live mountain music in front of the fire, those days are long gone. One other thing I might add, the turnover of employees is yet another sign of days long gone. We used to have the same staff every year, now it is ever changing. The club is not like it was either, the quality of food has gone down and the fancy coffee machine is broken all the time. Very disappointed that our favorite winter getaway is now a memory of the past. I will say the one thing that has stayed constant over the years is our friend we made years ago who walks around the lobby and club and tells us which mountains have been groomed. If he ever leaves, that will be very sad!

Wow service!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I was traveling for business and stayed at Bachelor Gulch Ritz. During breakfast, Carla with dining service was outstanding. She went above all standards of service to make my experience fantastic. As a frequent traveler I have never had a better experience. Thank you Carla!

Anniversary trip to the mountains

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We really enjoyed our weekend stay! It was my husband and I for our anniversary. We really enjoyed our room, it had a lovely view. Even though it was the beginning of off season we loved the room service and lobby bar! We can’t wait to come back, maybe with our kids next time!

Not the Ritz Carlton Standards

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I have stayed in many Ritz Carlton‘s before, and I believe the housekeeping/maintenance did not live up to the standards. Our curtains were ripped both inside and blackout curtains. There were stains on the carpet. There were chips all around the bathroom mirrors and the bathroom doors were dusty and needed washed down . I understand they were getting ready for season however the hotel was not too full Capacity, not even close they could have checked the room and put us in one that was Ritz Carlton perfection.
