Approaching Soneva Fushi by Six Senses by seaplane, you are sure to perceive the unfolding panorama as breathtaking. Sand-fringed atolls in a turquoise sea give way to brilliant coral reefs protected by tranquil lagoons. This exquisite resort is situated on its own private island in the Maldives, a collection of land known as the "Pearls of the Indian Ocean." The remoteness of Soneva Fushi by Six Senses is central to its charm, offering the ultimate in barefoot sophistication. Each private guest villa opens to its very own stretch of white sand beach just a few steps away, while many also include private pools. The legendary Six Senses Spa further entices guests, with its large reflecting pool and alluring waterfalls.

This visit we started off in a 2 bedroom Crusoe with pool on the sunrise side. Although this is an older villa it is very well maintatined. I was in the ground floor bedroom which was large and well appointed. My companion was upstairs. I had a back injury so I wanted a villa with the ground floor bedroom. Unfortunately the access to the reef on the sunrise side was a bit difficult for me so we moved to the sunset side. TBH I have always avoided this side due to the closeness of Eydhafushi but actually it was fine. We like to snorkel 3 times a day (and usually would do both sides) but this time we had easy access from Out of the Sea, Out of the Blue and the beach in between. Most of the time visibility was fantastic and the waters calm. We especially enjoy a sunrise snorkel when th ereef is waking up. So we moved to a SF Family Villa suite and it was perfect for the two of us. The amazing thing about Soneva Fushi is that there are always improvements and enhancements. We never get bored year after year. It is also the only resort I have stayed more than a week at. Our favourite restaurant this time was Fresh in the Garden. The amazing brazillian chef has moved to Secret but the new chef is also amazing. The HB package is extremely generous, and we never paid any supplements and always had plenty to eat. We did not do any "Special" dinners this time. I also find the breakfast the best one in the Maldives. I have been to many resorts and many in the premium category and IMO no other comes close to Soneva breakfast. The staff are amazing - my one critism would be that management were not present at all during our visit. Not that we needed them as the barefoot butlers can handle any issues that may arise but its nice that they check up on you. So once again Soneva Fushi surpassed my expectations and we are working on a visit at the same time next year.

A refreshing blend of traditional hospitality and contemporary comfort. The staff managed to be professional without being stuffy, and helpful without being intrusive. The public spaces were thoughtfully designed for both socializing and quiet reflection. We particularly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and the way they seamlessly handled special requests.

Returning to Soneva Fushi felt like stepping into a familiar paradise, where nature and luxury blend seamlessly. My visit here in 2021 feels like both yesterday and a lifetime ago. Soneva’s unique charm lies not only in its beauty but in the love story of Sonu and Eva, the visionaries behind this sanctuary. Their shared dream brought this lap of luxury to life, infusing each detail with heart and authenticity. Set in the stunning Baa Atoll, Soneva Fushi is a beloved retreat for stars like Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan, who come here seeking the same peace and nature-driven luxury. From the moment I arrived, the #NoShoesNoNews vibe took over, and my Barefoot Guardian welcomed me with lemongrass towels, a buggy, and a bike for easy island exploration. Highlights: • Sunset Cocktails at Out of the Blue: Watching the sun dip over the ocean from this two-story lounge was pure bliss. • Dinner at So Primitive: The fire-pit dining experience here is rustic, delicious, and unforgettable. • Guided Snorkeling at Turtle Point: Swimming with sea turtles in pristine waters felt like a real-life nature documentary. • Soneva Soul Spa: This jungle oasis is on another level—every treatment feels deeply rejuvenating, blending natural elements in a way that calms the mind and body like nothing else. • Stingray Sightings: Magical encounters with these graceful creatures made each day unforgettable. • Chocolate and Cheese Rooms: Endless complimentary treats—enough said! Fushi’s magic shines in the details: wild bunnies hopping by, starry skies at the So Celestial Observatory, and that unbelievable shade of blue in the ocean. Across every experience, Soneva Fushi’s commitment to sustainability is remarkable, with coral regeneration projects and eco-friendly waste practices at the forefront. The Barefoot Guardians add such a personal touch, making each day feel fresh and memorable. Soneva Fushi isn’t just a resort—it’s a celebration of nature, luxury, and the dream that Sonu and Eva brought to life. Every visit here connects you with nature and leaves you with unforgettable memories. Truly a place to return to again and again. 🌊

Holy moly, what a find! This joint is the real deal. Staff treated me like I was some sorta celeb (I'm not, btw). The atmosphere was bang on - fancy but not stuffy, y'know? Everything was clean as a whistle and worked like a charm. Honestly, I'm kinda worried I've been spoiled for life now. You gotta check this place out!

Walking in here is like stepping into a well-oiled machine of hospitality. The staff moved with purpose and precision, yet exuded warmth and genuine care. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of energy and calm, stimulating yet soothing. Every interaction felt personalized, as if the entire experience was crafted just for me. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning my next visit.
